We had great stay at Casa Obispo 307. Leo and Milagra are wonderful hosts. When we arrived they prepared great cocktail and we enjoyed small talk, to introduce each other’s 😊 They are very kind and made us feel like home 😊. They provide us with Havana map, shared with us most important details about the city and Cuba’s culture. The room was great, spacious and very clean. Leo arranged a taxi for us (to the airport) and helped us to bring our luggage to the car 😊 (and to the room when we arrived)! For all of us, travelers, very important thing is Wi-Fi ofc 😊 which you will have at Cas Obispo 307 as well. Leo will help you to buy internet card or at least explain you where you can buy it. Thank you so much for your great hospitality! We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Obispo 307! If we come back to Havana, we will contact you for sure! Thank you for everything and all the best, Olja & Aleksandar, Serbia…
Everything was excellent. The family was very nice and helpful to me and my daughter. The room and the living room with very nice architectural details. Gave us the home feeling. Nice breakfast, nice talks and good advice
The Casa is reached from the street via a long stairway and is arranged over 2 floors. Our family stayed 5 nights in the two connecting bedrooms upstairs. Both really lovely, clean rooms, beds and bed linen of excellent quality. Bathroom and shower were also good. There’s a safe and a small fridge with bottled water. These bedrooms are on the floor above the main floor and are reached by a steep staircase. This could be a problem if you had mobility issues, if you have very heavy luggage or have enjoyed a few too many mojitos. Our hosts were very helpful with our luggage during our stay. Leo and Milagro are kind and charming hosts. Breakfasts were perfect. We enjoyed omelettes that were the best I’ve ever tasted, fresh fruit, juice, bread/toast, avocado and coffee. Leo talked us through a map of the city pointing out things that we might like to do and offering us information on how to get wifi cards. He also arranged a classic car for a trip to Fusterlandia and the transfer to our next destination Varadero. The street, being so centrally located, is bustling with people and the bars have live music every evening. The noise wasn’t a problem for us as it was quiet during the night so didn’t disturb our sleep. Our previous trip to Havana was spent at the Parque Central Hotel. We had a better time staying here.…
First off I want to say that Mr. Leo and Mrs Milagro were wonderful hosts. They make you feel like you are part of the family. The house is cozy, spacious and full of history. Leo will provide any necessary accommodation, including maps, restaurants, and anything that you might to see/visit while in Cuba. Mrs Milagro offers awesome breakfast which was awesome. The area feels very safe and people are very very nice. A+++
Casa Obispo 307 was recommended to my wife and me by one of her colleagues and we are so happy that we followed up on his advice. Our hosts, Leo and Milagro were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful throughout our week stay. The Casa is charming, clean and very nicely designed, decorated and maintained. The Casa is situated in the heart of Habana Vieja (Havana Old Town) on Obispo which is a bustling and interesting pedestrian-only street which runs through the old town. Obispo has bars, restaurants, Metropolitan bank, a craft market, etc. Casa Obispo 307 is ideally situated as a base for exploring many sights in Habana Vieja. Leo was invaluable in giving lots of local advice from everything to handling the local currency, advice on how much to pay the local taxi drivers, where to buy tickets for cigar factory tours, how to get onto the local wifi and much appreciated local restaurant recommendations. Milagro is a good cook; her omelettes will set you up for the day at breakfast and if you choose to eat dinner in the Casa you will not be disappointed. We really liked her black beans! Leo and Milagro made every effort to make us happy and comfortable and they very much succeeded. Casa Obispo felt like a home away from home and my wife and I felt we had made two new friends…
