Our son stayed here earlier in the year, and on his recommendation, my husband booked to stay for our trip from Varadero to Havana. After a longish bus journey and a walk from the bus to the Casa, we were hot and tired, so it came as an unpleasant shock when, on arrival, we were told that "because we had... More

The house itself is a beautiful, old style colonial house. However, they advertise that they speak English, but the girl that does is never around. Therefore, it was hard to communicate anything to the staff, for help on booking cars or asking directions, so that was frustrating. We asked them to book a car for a day trip and the... More

Highly recommended (see pictures). The room was $25, breakfast an additional $5. Miriam and her husband make sure their guests are taken care off. The fridge had beer for $2. I did not have a reservation

We loved the experience of staying at a Casa Particular. This one is very centrally located, althought the neighborhood seems strange and unsafe, Havana is very safe. It´s very close to Paladar La Guarida, Restaurant Casa Miglis and Paladar Notre Dame des Bijoux. Inside the house is very charming and confortable. The room is comfortable, good ar-conditioning, a fan, a... More

We stayed at Casa Miriam for 2 nights in May 2016. The house is beautiful and clean. Our room was roomy, cool and comfortable. It was such an added bonus that Miriam's daughter Yali speaks English, that helped us tremendously figure some things out. They arranged a taxi for us to travel to Vinales and it was on time. The... We stayed at Casa Miriam at Lealtad 206 in Centro Habana. It is the beautiful green colonial house from the 1800's. There aren't too many pictures of this particular house on TripAdvisor of both the outside and inside of the house. The patio area, which shows the green and yellow painted exterior is beautiful! The actual bedrooms aren't as fancy.... More

Stayed there for 5 nights in 2 stays in early April '16 Big clean rooms, the owners are so friendly even getting a doctor to call to discuss my partners health. Close to the Malecon and a 10 minute walk from the old part of town. Has a little balcony where you can drink a Havana rum while watching the... More

Stayed in mid-March 2016 with a group of friends. This was our first casa, which set the standard for the next ones. Facilities are fairly decent, for Cuban standards at least. It is conveniently located as both Miramar and Habana Vieja are 15-20 min walk if you don't like to take taxis. The other good things about this casa is... More

Admittedly, this was our 1st time in Cuba. Yet, this was not my 1st choice as I wanted the casa particulares in Old Havana. But out of more than a half dozen casas that I emailed looking for a room, no one responded except this one. She was prompt in replying to my email. A side note for Cuban casa... More

We reserved a room here but like some of the other travellers to this casa, we then got moved elsewhere. This is very typical for Cuba! The new casa was fine - clean and tidy and in a very central location in old Havana which was great. The casa system in Cuba is amazing as long as you're happy with... More

We apologise to the travellers for our hard sistem of booking , confirmation and reconfirmation again a few days before arrival.
