Felix and Lydia are helpful and friendly. They have been to Italy and Felix speaks Italian and gives preferences to Italians (like using the outdoor patio for breakfast). When I was there I had to ask for eggs - other places asked me. Shower pressure was very weak - don't know if they were working on the plumbing or this...

Even with the reservation confirmed by e-mail a week before the trip, there was no room avaiable when we arrived. Do not trust. Incluso con la reserva confirmada por e-mail una semana antes del viaje, no había ninguna habitación disponible cuando llegamos. No confíes.

Felix and Lidia made our stay very pleasant and the breakfasts were good along with the evening meals we had thanks to Felix's son, Felix. The house is situated in Vedado, a very pleasant area next to the sea (the Malecon) and a reasonable distance from central Havana and a bit further from the old city centre (Habana Vieja). There...

Casa Abalidia is like my second home. Félix and Lidia are wonderful hosts, and I always feel so comfortable when I stay with them. This is a great location in Vedado in a beautiful historic home, but the real gems are the owners.

We spent our two first night in Havana at Lidia and Felix's casa in the Vedado and came back the next weekend. The house is lovely, with a nice terrace to take the great cuban breakfast prepared by our hosts and drink a good italian coffee while chatting with Felix who suggested us nice casas in other parts of Cuba...

Felix and Lidia will help you in any way they can, in such a nice way that you will love to go back and try again their mojitos, chat in the backyard, help to...

Our stay with Felix and Lidia was absolutely incredible. If you are lucky enough to manage to meet these people and stay in their home it will just give a plus to your trip. They treated my girlfriend and me like part of their family, but I’m not that arrogant to think we had a special treatment, making feel everyone...

As others shared Lidia and Felix make you feel at home and take care of you. The house is magnificent and some...

We went to this house as it came highly recommended by some friends and we read excellent reviews of it on tripadvisor. As we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Lidia and Felix. The house is a nice colonial house in Vedado. Our room was big, although dark and a bit old, and although we had a private bathroom, this...
