Have a drink on the outdoor patio. You can almost imagine what Havana was like before World War II when rich people went to Havana for the evening to enjoy the drinks and the music. It is charming. It's not walking distance to Old Havana but if you can afford to stay here you can take one of the convertible...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

My wife and I spent two nights at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba at the end of our four-week holiday in Cuba. This was the crowning jewel of a wonderful holiday. We were astounded by this beautiful 1930s art deco hotel. The hotel foyer is classically beautiful. Our entire stay was faultless, from the pleasant concierage and receptionist service upon...

I stayed two nights at the beginning of a fourteen day tour of Cuba and two nights at the end of the tour. This is a grand old hotel built in the thirties. I am sure the hotel has never been renovated and, as you would guess, it looks a bit worn. The grounds are very nice and the back...

The hotel is located in Vedado,in Havana where it is quite close to many places which are must to see while you are in Havana. The service, the gardens especially are really nice where, like many places in Cuba, you can enjoy live music during your stay. It has a lovely cigar shop where you can buy and smoke cigars if you...

.I had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool, the ocean and the hangout area for the dancers in the show. The room and bathroom were small, but fine for the purpose. I had to get a toilet flushing lesson from the housekeeper as it usually took 3 to 5 pumps. I wasn't expecting Wi-Fi or air conditioning...

Our tour group of 17 was booked into the Nacional, a stunning art-deco palace on the seafront that was consistently crowded with tourists. The reviews from our group were mixed. Some of us had rooms that were in fine shape with a great view. Others were not so lucky: one of our travelers was put into a small room with...

Overall a good option. We had mixed reviews. The inside needs help. When you get to your room check how everything works. Sink, safe, lights. Some areas of the hotel have better cell and wifi reception than others. Back of hotel in the H is better than sides and front. If you can see the Buena Vista Social club show,...

Great, historic place to enjoy a glass of Ron anejo de Cuba. There is lots of little details to spot. Of course, one sees here too that there not all and everyting available. But this is certainly not only the Cubans mistake. Anyway, if you have an eye for the detail and not just looking for the perfect, then go...

Spending 10 days in Cuba was an amazing experience. Part of my stay was spent at the National Hotel. The staff were strictly professional and efficient. The rooms clean with adequate bathroom accomodiations considering the hotel was built in 1930. The open air area facing the North Atlantic was amazing. While walking down the path facing the ocean I were...

We were not staying at this hotel, but we enjoyed a quick lunch in the cafe and then drinks outside near the patio in the evening. The lunch was quick which is unusual in Cuba, and the famous Cuban sandwich did not disappoint. Sitting outside under the trees, enjoying the evening breezes was a great way to spend a couple...
