There's a genuine welcome here that we really liked. After a day in the city, it was really great to lounge by the pool and be in a small guesthouse away from the crowds. Lexa is all about making a great breakfast or dinner and really looked after us. Ydalgo the owner went to every length to make our stay...

This place is amazing. A wonderful stylish house full of art but still so cousy, relax and comfortable. I stayed two nights here at summer 2012. Great people run this place, very nice and helpful. Also got delicious home made food here. Garden is like a hidden paradise but unfortunately when I was there it was really cloudy so couldn't...

We stayed three nights in this romatic place. If you go to Havanna, make sure you´ll stay here, The hosts are great and help you with all kind of traveler problems (taxis, restaurants, places to be) and might offer you to cook a diner for you. If they make this offer, you should take it.

We stayed at Ydalgo's casa in November 2011 as part if our honeymoon. We stayed in the annex in the garden which was fantastic, breakfast was provided each morning either in the main house dining room or the garden by Ydalgo's nephew or sister who were both an absolute joy. Stayed in the main house on our last night much...

Well, actually all the other "TripAdvisor" have already pointed out the highlights of this house or better said a museum of modern art mixed with the tremendous past of Cuba. Being in Cuba means being in a total Bohemian world, staying in this house you must smoke a puro (cigar) and drink Havana club. And if you like art, take...

We had a great time in the Artedel Guest House. The Owner is a great person - attentive, great service and very caring. He even speaks German - since he is very often in Switzerland (he has 2 nationalities). The room was gorgeous!! I'm very picky when it comes to cleannes - and this room was VERY clean and the...

Very nice house and rooms. A big advantage is that Ydalgo speaks German and English and can give you a lot of good tips. The location for local residents is perfect. For a tourist it is rather far away from the main attractions, especially when you hire a rental car in downtown and have to find back. As a single...

Cant speak highly enough about this casa. We stayed here for a couple of nights. We had been all around Cuba, and stayed here straight after staying at a 5star hotel in Varadeo. This was far better, more luxurious, more interesting, more attention to detail.. We didn't expect such a luxurious casa in Havana. Ydalgo is a character and was...

In Ydalgo's Artedel Guest House, you will find a casa particular that could compete with boutique properties anywhere in North America or Europe. The home is located in a peaceful suburb to the west of downtown Havana called Miramar-Playa (west of Vedado). The location is fairly far from Old Havana, (which is why we split our time between staying in...

We spent five days at the Artedel Guest House and had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent, and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The house itself was beautiful, with fantastic artwork and furniture. The gardens and patios were peaceful and calming. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
