We stayed in Colina Hotel from Feb 18 - Feb 25 and just returned. We didn't get basic features in Islazul Colina Hotel in Havana, the hotel doesn't meet a standard of basic features like water, air conditioning and cleanliness. Overall accommodation experience : disappointing and frustrating: - First day, there was no water in the morning to wash your...

This hotel has a great location! There are some great views from some of the Hotel rooms. The breakfast bufé is impressive! There is a great 24/7 outdoor café with a cosmopolitan flair. There is a money exchange and a travel agency as well.

very few hotels online for Havana, those that are usually charge a fortune. Hotel Colina is a basic budget hotel. Realistically this is a 1 or 2 star hotel, has a great lobby (where you can get wi-fi access if you dont want to sit in a park), a great buffet breakfast, and some cracking views of the University from...

Visited this hotel once again in Jan 2017. It was an Ok experience as usual.. First room was too noisy but requested and was given a replacement next morning. I had special request for 2nd floor and this request was respected in both cases. Breakfast (included) was good with the usual egg station and buffet. Only one comment..I was told...

Was here with a group of 20 persons. The Hotel staff were great, and their service was excellent. The rooms were OK, but very low water pressure in the showers, and almost no hot water. Air conditioners worked, but they are old and will need to be serviced soon. The breakfast was good, lots to choose from. But, the attached...

If you're just looking for a place to crash for a few nights in a central location, go for it. If you want a more typical hotel experience you're going to have spend a lot more at a place like Hotel Libre, or Hotel Nacional. Pro - Friendly Staff at the bar/restaurant downstairs at street level - Friendly staff at...

The Islazul Colina Hotel is conveniently located in the Vedado district of Havana, Cuba. There's a well stocked Casa del Habano cigar store in the lobby of the nearby Habana Libre hotel. The Coppelia ice cream parlor is also here, and the famous Presidente hotel is a short walk away, on the Malecon. Our Islazul Colina room included a decent...

Hotel was centrally located to the University of Havana, La Rampa and the Malecon and other hotels such as the Capri and Hotel Nacional. I liked it. The rooms are adequate because who really spends that much time in their room while in Cuba other than to take a nap or sleep at night. My only complaint was that the...

Stayed at Hotel Colina for three days. There was hot water, a clean modern bathroom and most importantly air conditioning. It is centrally located four blocks south of the famous Malecón. But, not at the heart of it. Hotel Colina is two thirds less than your other 4 or 5 star places. And by comparison well worth it. As we...

Avoid this hotel if possible and go for a casa particular. There was no hot water at all for 10 days straight, the rooms are claustrophobic and noisy. The service was ok and the breakfast edible. Funny thing but at breakfast they do not serve water, you have to spend 1 CUC to get a small bottle from a fridge...
