We stayed in this hotel at the start of our trip for 3 nights and 2 at the end. It's very well situated and architectuarily its a beautiful old Spanish/Moorish style of building. The rooms are a similar style with high ceilings and tiled floors. On our first stay our room was very large, on the second stay it was...

We stayed here in April, just before and during the US president visit (historical moment). The hotel is located in the old Havana and next to the National Theater, which gives it a prime location. The interior and rooms need refreshing/updating. There was no internet service, so we had to go to the nearby hotels to get some connection. Staff...

Just stopped by for drinks at the rooftop bar. Very relaxing and a great view of the surrounding city. Even bought some art from the street vendors on the nearby wide street. Try the Mohito or a local beer.

I recently stayed at Hotel Inglaterra in Havana, accompanied by two of my children. After researching hotels in and around Havana, we very much wanted to stay at this hotel. It struck us that Hotel Inglaterra is THE quintessential Cuban hotel near the Old City. We were not disappointed. The hotel is an incredible and beautiful building that almost literally...

Right in the center is this hotel. Unfortunately it is very popular with tourists which results in high prices but not the offering you should be able to expect. The staff is not motivated to offer some more than basic service. The infrastructure in the rooms are outdated and some does not work - like showers. Complain to get a...

I had wanted to stay at the Hotel Ingleterra in Cuba Havana but they had sold out of rooms for the dates I was visiting. I decided to visit the hotel and have dinner there. A big mistake! The dining room is grand but the service was so appalling. When I ordered my meal there were only a few tables...

We started with a dreadful room, having requested a room overlooking the square ...that room was 305....they moved us after one night and our second room was fine although we noticed a lump of masonry on the balcony that could fall off at any time. Breakfast was OK if uninspiring...although afterwards I noticed that they would make an omelette to...

We went to the roof top were they have a bar with some chairs and an actually good view of the Old Havana. The drinks where mediocre, the music too loud and the bathrooms not nice at all. Is much better to hangout in the lobby that in any other part of the hotel.

Many things about the hotel are positive. The location, on the Paseo de Marti, is quite walkable to many interesting areas of the city - old Havana, Paseo de Prado, Museum of the Revolution, many good restaurants and interesting streets. The classic cars line up outside, ready for tours. The interior of the hotel is spacious and stately, with it's...

This is the oldest hotel in Cuba and as such is very traditional with original features and does therefore looked 'tired'. Other hotels in the vicinity are more modern so it depends what you're looking for in your hotel. The room we stayed in had four sets of curtains but as it was in the centre of the hotel ..no...
