We booked Hotel Florida through a travel company who in hind sight took a big slice of the overall cost that we paid . (which was $400 USD a night ) . We arrived and truly thought we were in a Faulty Towers episode the receptionist was SO uninterested in us . Her attitude didn't waiver as did any of...

I stayed at the Florida hotel in Havana on the 20th April. Although the hotel is a beautiful building and in a good location the service and facilities were appalling and ruined our stay: * I was refused a free airport transfer which was on my voucher; I should be grateful if the GBP equivalent of 25 CUCS is credited...

Lived up to its promise – excellent location, lots of character, beautiful colonial style courtyards / patios / corridors but dodgy infrastructure and fittings. It was in fact two hotels knocked into one – the Hotel Florida and the Hotel Marqués de Prado Ameno, both lovely and nicely-decorated hotels with attractive patios, passages, two bars and a restaurant each. Other...

Amazing hotel. Not 5 star, but what an experience. It was everything I had imagined about Havana and more. Not a place to stay for more than a couple of nights but a must to experience life on the city

A very nice and beautiful hotel in the city center. Located in the old Havana. Good food- yummy breakfast. Wifi is available, just need to buy the prepaid token. Good salsa bar. A bit pricey, but worth.

On arrival we were impressed by the entrance and lounge area after that it was down hill all the way, the room was tired and dated and we had no water. Breakfast was horrible I never ate or drank a thing!!! We were due to return here after our tour of the island but paid more money to upgrade to...

A very nice hotel with a beautiful courtyard. Staff helpful. Room very nice but we didn't have a view from our window. Quite noisy until about 1.30 a.m. Every evening. They seemed to have parties in the central courtyard which made the noise louder. We were warned about this so took earplugs. Breakfast adequate. Always something to eat that you...

We have been re-located to this hotel for 4 days in Havana, as our original hotel was double booked. The hotel itself is directly in the center of Havana and is a nice old palazzo with a very nice patio. The issue that our room was extremely noisy without glass in the windows directly at the main shopping street. After...

We stayed a total of 4 nights, 3 at the start of our trip and one towards the end. Hotel Florida is a lovely old hotel located in the heart of old Havana. We chose it for its location and uniqueness and were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar and our rooms were air conditioned....

The Hotel Florida could not have been in a better location. It is situated on Obispo, The hottest street in old town Havana. It is a 5-minute walk to Plaza de Armas and in a different direction a 5 min. walk to the Plaza de cathedral. Breakfast was not great but definitely not bad at all. There were several unique...
