The only good thing about this hotel is it's location - IF: you want to do a lot of things walking and like to be in the middle of Old Havanna. You need to like to be up until late at night/morning and do not need any windows to be opened (there are NO glass-windows) and are so drunk and/or...

We had booked the Hotel Telegrafo and since they could not find our reservation, we ended up in this crappy hotel ! This is noisy (no glass windows) this is like sleeping directly on the street, the breakfast is really bad, nothing is good and we paid 250 Swiss Franc per night. DOES NOT WORTH IT AT ALL !!!! Stealing...

We were probably seduced by the genuine photos of the lovely lobby with its mosaic floor, ornate columns and lovely ferns but wish we'd done what many others did - popped in to take photo and left. Didn't recognise the photos of the rooms as ours was nothing like them. It was very dark and dim with low beds and...

Sorely dissatisfied with the staff's attitude about issue and willingness to fix things. Beautiful historical building but terrible service, overpriced, poor amenities, terrible breakfast. *sheets were dirty in our room and bottom she just lays on mattress....not fitted nor long enough to tuck so it moved all night *showerhead holder was coming out of wall so it wouldn't hold the...

Discovered this restaurant a few years ago and had to share this wonderful spot. Its all done up as in the "olden days". Amazing décor and the garden courtyard just so wonderful to sit and enjoy. The hotel Florida is located at the bottom of Obispo street opposite end of the Floridita. Huge gate open onto a fabulous garden courtyard...

We had a suite on the 2nd floor corner. Beautiful old building nicely restored. Our room had a small sitting room with balcony (our daughter slept there) and a bathroom with separate dressing / basin room and a huge bedroom that had balconies on two sides. Beds were ok and as usual in Cuba some things were just odd. As...

This hotel is at one end of the main street in old Havana and in my opinion it is a great location. The main attraction here was the foyer area as it was in the center of the hotel with a great glass roof. and quite a few visitors just came in to have a look. The room we had...

We booked Hotel Florida through a travel company who in hind sight took a big slice of the overall cost that we paid . (which was $400 USD a night ) . We arrived and truly thought we were in a Faulty Towers episode the receptionist was SO uninterested in us . Her attitude didn't waiver as did any of...

I stayed at the Florida hotel in Havana on the 20th April. Although the hotel is a beautiful building and in a good location the service and facilities were appalling and ruined our stay: * I was refused a free airport transfer which was on my voucher; I should be grateful if the GBP equivalent of 25 CUCS is credited...

Lived up to its promise – excellent location, lots of character, beautiful colonial style courtyards / patios / corridors but dodgy infrastructure and fittings. It was in fact two hotels knocked into one – the Hotel Florida and the Hotel Marqués de Prado Ameno, both lovely and nicely-decorated hotels with attractive patios, passages, two bars and a restaurant each. Other...
