Although we arrived late at night the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel. Our room was lovely - huge room, dressing area and large bathroom, with the biggest shower head I had ever seen! The bed was enormous and comfortable, the high ceiling made the room feel even more spacious and the air conditioning worked. We only had... More

Having read some of the previous reviews I was a little apprehensive, but my fears were groundless! The staff were welcoming and pleasant, the breakfast plentiful and varied but the best bit was the wonderful old building and location! I felt we were really experiencing Havana and the noise from the street below just added to the atmosphere!

The hotel is very stylish quaint hotel and at very good location. I like the main court yard and the rear court yard with many plants. It is a bit shabby but I think it is expected for buildings in Cuba. We stayed at 2nd floor with very high ceiling. Have a small balcony facing the street but still quiet.... More

We stayed in hotel Florida 7 nights. When checking in I was informed that we need to pay 160 e extra for a quiet room. All rooms in the hotel are facing the noisy street or are located above a disco which was open every night from 9.30 pm to 1 pm. So, our room was in a separate building... More

Hotel Florida is located right in the centre of Old Havana. We came to Cuba for my husbands 50th Birthday for a special experience and we were not disappointed! We stayed in Rm 2 of the Hotel which faced the buzzing Obispo Street.....don't expect to sleep much as life goes on until the early hours of the morning in Havana!... More

We stayed one night at The Florida Hotel as we had an early flight to catch after our 10-day tour of Cuba and when we left we were glad that it was only a brief time we had spent there. The hotel is in a beautifully styled colonial building and in a lively part of the city with plenty to... More

The hotel has an impressive architecture, in particular the inner courtyard, which functions as a lobby has a great atmosphere. The location is excellent, all important sights are within walking distance. The rooms are o.K., but maitenance should be approved. For example, in our room the hot water tap worked, but not the cold water tap. After we reported it... More

The hotel is located on the most popular street in Havana. you can walk to everywhere from the hotel. PLUS the hotel has its own WiFi spot ( this is amazing that you don't need to walk to other WiFi spot and sit outside. They sell WiFi card in the hotel but cost twice compare to you buy in the... Spent 1 night here at the end of our trip; it's directly on Calle Obispo so can be noisy but this wasn't an issue with the room we had. The room was spacious and felt more luxurious than other places we'd stayed throughout our trip, but the bedding wasn't exactly clean (but this appeared to be a problem in Cuba... More
