Candida is so generous and caring. She helped us with taxi, she kept our bicycle suitcases while we whisked off to explore the rest of Cuba, and she's always willing to understand our less-than-fluent Spanish. The breakfast is by far the best we had in Cuba! The house is within reach of the Malecon and other points of interest in...

We stayed at Casa Candida y Pedro for 2 nights. We had the big room with one double and two twin beds, ensuite bathroom, and a new airconditioner. The room was clean, the sheets as well, and the air conditioner worked well. The street noise is a bit loud because there are older windows to the street with only slatted...

La señora was super nice and we had a great time at her casa. The breakfast was great, it was more a brunch than breakfast. The location is perfect, in centro habana and just a few blocks from Habana Vieja. The señora was very helping, giving us tips on the neighborhood, arranging taxi drive, pretty much anything we needed. I...

The casa is located in the busy street San Rafael and only 2 blocks to the square "Plaza San Rafael" with available Wi-Fi Hotspot! In total, we stayed 2 times during our journey in this casa and we got two different rooms. Both were clean and equipped with a fan. One was very tiny and calm, the other one very...

I stayed in this casa particular for three weeks in April/May 2014 whilst carrying out my MSc dissertation project in Havana. The owners, Candida and Pedro, were in Europe visiting their children and I was looked after by their niece and a friend. They could not have been more helpful or obliging: no question or request went undeclined and they...

It was the first casa of our whole trip and it put our expectations very high for the rest of our trip. Candida and Pedro were extremely welcoming and very helpful. The casa is amazingly beautiful and the breakfast, specially the eggs are the best of the island.

This is a great place to stay just a short walk from Old Havana. Candida keeps a real family atmosphere, very social and friendly. We stayed for a week and had breakfast and dinner at Candida's. Her cooking is excellent and the meals are plentiful and communal. We had the large room upstairs with three beds, fridge, sitting area, and...

The house is located in the old havana and you don't need to use a taxi to get to the attractions. Although there is a street in front of the house there is no noise from the street. Candida and her husband are very friendly and always ready to help you. They know many good houses in other cities and...

I had an incredible week at La Casa de Candida y Pedro. Everyone was friendly and helpful; prices were excellent and my room was clean and airy. I was traveling as a young woman alone and felt this Casa was the calm, quiet place I could return to each evening. Candida and Pedro were extremely friendly, helpful, and happy to...
