Thank you so much to Martha, Ramon and their lovely family for the very warm welcome on our first trip to Cuba. Spotlessly clean, helpful and friendly, I was so glad to come across this homely casa after our pre booked accommodation fell through. It is an excellent location to explore Old Havana. We spent a week here and then...

We stayed here three nights total and were really happy with everything. The location is it's main selling point - in Old Havana, right near the Main Street Obispo. Felt very safe walking home at night. Martha and her daughter Barbara are lovely. They treat you like family. Breakfast is an additional 5 CUC per person and is highly recommendable...

We had a great experience staying at Casa Marta y Ramon. Marta was extremely helpful and very sweet, but much more comfortable speaking Spanish than English. The breakfasts were yummy and large. The rooms were basic, but spacious and with tall ceilings. Each had a private bathroom, which was really nice, and it was pleasant to be on the ground...

Wasn't overly impressed with this casa. It's in a good location but apart from that there's not much going for it. The rooms are very basic, the bathroom is actually in the bedroom with a magnetic curtain hanging around it. It was by far the most expensive and least nice of the casas we stayed in in Cuba. Also it...

The best thing about this casa is its location: in the NW of Havana Vieja less than 10 minutes walk either to Plaza Centrale or Plaza de la Catedrale. It's in an unprepossessing side street but safe at night. Once inside it's a pleasant & comfortable house. Marta speaks little English but her grand-daughter, if present, speaks it well. We...
