Dear Customer: Enjoy the time and your words to our Hotel. I am very sorry that you have had this ugly perception of our Hotel San Felipe and our service. I am struck by your comment, which in reality has nothing to do with the philosophy of customer service that we have, where the customer is the priority And that... More

We stayed here on our first days in Cuba- Havana. The hotel is in a great location, we walked everywhere from it. The architecture of the building as well as the lobby/bar area are great. Also booking process was very straightforward, which was great when you arrive somewhere after a long flight and last thing you want is to be... More

Having had to carry our own baggage 150m along the only access over a cobbled pedestrianised area, the taciturn welcome from the receptionist on arrival for a one night stop over on the way home did not bode well. The room smelt from the drains which the staff had sought unsuccessfully to cover with an air freshener. The bedding was... More

Dear Customer: Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience at Hotel San Felipe. I regret that your experience with the Hotel San Felipe Restaurant has not been satisfactory and that you have not been satisfied with dinner. We stayed four nights at San Felipe. Our transfer from Havana Airport took half an hour by car, dropping us off outside the main square. The hotel is situated in St Francis of Assisi square, a very central location to Havana which was perfect as you could walk to most places of interest in the old part of the city.... More

Stayed for 4 nights. Would class the hotel as average to good. Great location and decent rooms. First day we arrived, they had said that there were no double rooms left so we could be upgraded to the suite, free for first night then 60 cuc per day for the rest of our stay should we decide to stay in... We stayed here twice on our way through Havana, the staff where friendly and prices where reasonable. Our first room was spacious but a bit dark, very clean and had working air conditioning. Our second room was an upgrade and it was one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in, very large and super comfortable with an epic... More

Beautiful building and perfect location for old square and around. Front of house staff brusque but very helpful mostly. Welcome drink was welcome! We had tried to upgrade before our visit as some reviews inferred small rooms etc but we hadn't heard - on checking in we were told we could have a suite that night for no extra cost... More

This was the first hotel in which we stayed in Cuba. We slept fine on the twin size beds. The room was neat and like most hotels in Cuba, are more like U.S. motels. The hotel only provided two bath size towels. You will not get a face towel. We only ate breakfast at the hotel and it was good.... More

This hotel is in a fabulous spot and is in walking distance to everthing around Old Havana. Room had a musty damp smell that you did get used. Room was comfortable and A/C worked well which was great after a hot day. Breakfast was okay but lacked flavours Westerners are used to. I found the staff friendly enough and helpful... More
