We were here 3 night on honeymoon. In old Habana this place is very nice. Clean, nice, pretty... The breakfast was very SUPER! Lot of fresh food and "huevos revueltos", lot of coffee, hot milk and everything else. Surama was sweet and friendly. Muchas gracias, from Hungary 5*

The house is very clean and the old Havana sqare is just 2minutes walking. From the balcony you can see the sqare. For breakfast we had fruits, eggs, fresh juice and very good coffe. The only minus is that the quest speaks little english, but she's very nice. She even called a taxi for us. All in all worth the money... More

This casa was very different to the others we had stayed in. After we toiled up the three flights of narrow stairs we were dumbstruck by the mad interior decoration of the apartment. A home awash with antiques and china ornaments, clocks, marble pillars and polished wood furniture. Not perhaps to everyone's taste but the owners certainly take a pride... More

Pros: great location, restaurants/nightlife a few blocks away, small private balcony to watch street life, clean, the bathroom we had was big and had a great shower with plenty of space & hot water, AC & fan in room, fridge in room Cons: least favorite casa of the 3 casas we stayed in, too many tacky antiques crammed in the... Thanks for your comments. We all have our own taste and sure, our house is not designed to please every body. Perhaphs, you may realize that there choices in life and that your comments have to do with your own life than with our interior decoration. More

Ana y Surama casa is very near Plaza Vieja. Some hubbub, music, and street noise. But you are three floors above that so it’s minimal. Good people watching from the balconies. Good site to explore the old city. Immaculate casa decorated with lots of ceramic figurines. Enjoyed the family’s hospitality very much. Sonayi and Luca, thank you.

You are more welcome!!! And yes, we are lucky to be in such great location. we owed to Mom and Dad who bought the place many years ago. Oh and also we owed it to the restauration plans of Old Havana, which drastically changed the city. Best, come back soon!!! More

We didn't actually stay here, but we did visit and had a look around. Although we booked well in advance, when we arrived (and lugged our baggage up two flights of stairs, the owners claimed we didn't have a booking - until we showed them the emails - then they said "but you didn't confirm five days ago". It's interesting... More

Dear Geoff, we are really sorry about the miscommunication. As you found out, the Internet is a headache in Cuba and sometimes the communication with clients breaks. We will make sure that next time it won´t happen. We are working on getting better communication channels for our business. Best, Raul Ferrera-Balanquet PR Manager More

We booked the triple room at Ana y Surama March 9-16. We found this Casa to be a great choice. Excellent location , spotless clean, beautiful colonial interior. The shared bathroom is immaculate & gorgeous. The beds were super comfortable and air conditioned rooms. Where else in the world are strangers welcomed into a persons home , given a key... More

Some may find the central location of this Casa a little noisy but we slept well after an evening stroll in Old Habana! It's so easy to get around and see the sights. The breakfast was as fantastic as the decoration of this lovely place. There are steep and narrow stairs to negotiate but well worth it.

Ana was out of town on vacation, but her daughter was there to host us. Sonayi and Luca were INCREDIBLE hosts. The place was always very clean, and espresso's always waiting. Steps away from a buzzing plaza where you sit all day and enjoy the live music and beautiful weather. This is my first choice Casa any and every time... More
