Stayed in Villa Azul for 4 nights. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. Had a/c, fan and fridge. Perfectly located for sightseeing, nightlife, restaurants. Breakfast and dinner were served daily by the hosts. We would highly recommend this casa to anyone visiting Havana.

Greisy is a wonderful host who talks also fluent english (not so popular in Havana). She also arrenged us very good rooms and rides to Vinales and to airport with reasonable price. Also bonus from excellent breakfasts and clean rooms & bathrooms. This is a very good place to say for such a cheap price. I got nothing bad to...

Stayed 3 nights. Good double room at top of narrow staircase. All clean and owners very friendly. Fantastic location in centre of old town. Breakfast too much to eat. 5 minute walk to Capitol Buildings, Hemingway Bar etc., Say hello to the old lady next door with the dressed up doll sitting in the rocking chair. Remember if asked for...

I spent 4 night at Villa Azul with my fiancé. The Casa has many stairs but they helped us to carry the luggage, our bedroom was clean and tidy, with a frigobar and air conditioned. The added value of this place, for us, has been Greisy. She's the owner and she was lovely with us, she arranged us: a car...

If you travel without a car and want to experience some unfiltered Havana vibe, yet still enjoy the comfort of a western hotel, Villa Azul is your best bet. Within a walking distance from El Capitolio, it is well marked and visible for travellers thanks to its bright blue front. Like in all houses in the old town, the stairs...

Lots of very narrow stairs up to the rooms, breakfasts always really late - ordered for 8 came at 10.15 and you waste your time hanging around and you always feel as though you are being ripped off - could not wait to get out of there. Felt cheated somehow - got old tatty towels thrown at us the last...

Spent a week in this charming Casa in the middle of old city (Vieja) of Havana. The booking was done in advance with transportion from the airport. We were greated by the lovely hostress Greisy while Michel carried our luggage up the narrow stairs to our room on the 3rd floor. Excelent welcome and superb service. We had the family...

Rooms were good value and the location is excellent. Greisy was helpful and accommodating. The stairs to the rooms are steep and narrow so a bit cumbersome with luggage. Breakfast is ok but can be skipped for better value elsewhere. Overall, a good place to stay.

Our last night in Havana and we stayed at Villa Azul. We had to rooms opposite each other which worked well for our party of six. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. The living area below was good too and we enjoyed our breakfast there (although it took a little while to come). There are steep stairs to...

My wife and I are 60+ and travelled all around the world. Cuba is an amazing place we recommend to visit, the people are wonderful. The only bad experience we had was with Villa Azul and we advise to stay away!!! We booked a van to Trinidad, and the car that showed up was a crappy private car which turned...
