Although it is cheap, it still include free lockers, hot shower, and clean liner. Simple but delicious breakfast only extra $1. During my trip in Cuba I returned twice to Hamel Hostel...

One of the few hostels in all of Cuba, Hamel hostel is the perfect option if you're trying to see Cuba on a budget. Located just a few blocks from the Malecon, and halfway between Havana Vieja and Vedado, I was able to see everything I wanted in Havana by walking and never having to pay for a taxi. The...

Clean dorm, bring your own lock for lockers in back room, shared kitchenette and big terrace. Super cheap, great place to meet people and helpful hosts (even if your Spanish is poor) Location is just on the edge of Centro and Vedado, Havanna is bigger than you think so walking home from a late night from the tourist spots in...

What a great place to stay! Not only is this place very affordable, but it is located in the heart of La Habana Central. It's around the corner from Callejon de Hamel, which is a cool artistic walk. There is a always a guy outside with cheap fresh fruits where the pineapples are the best. The hostel is clean, Magnolia...

“If you are a couple or 2 friend together. You can ask for the private room, but there is one private room with only one big bed and you pay the same as for being in the other rooms with bunk beds it's always 5 CUC a person.”

“Do take Julio up on all his pointers for a safe and happy time in Havana - this will save you stress and dollars! Guests are provided a small kitchen... to make the most of this bring along a camping style cook set and your favourite (hard to find) condiments. Otherewise sit down to as many meals on offer - Magnolia is a great cook!”
