Havana and it's people are beautiful. The architecture and streets of Old Town are fantastic. The vintage American and Russian cars are pretty awesome. We overall had a great experience. That being said, the heat and humidity was intense and there was little to no way of escaping it. I live in South Louisiana and I'm familiar with these conditions....

Staff welcoming, service was good. Rooms traditional, spacious and clean. Rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking the harbour with amazing views. The best food we had in Cuba, breakfast service was good. Talking with other english speaking visitors this hotel was heads above others in Havana. Great location to access shopping/resturants and walking distance of old Havana.

Basically, don't stay here unless you're desperate. Most things don't work, service is really quite poor, and Management doesn't care. Breakfast is terrible. We stayed in private casas for the rest of our stay in Cuba, and casas are much better value for money. However, the location is good, enabling you to explore the old town within 10 - 15...

This is a beautifully restored hotel and is in a great location on the edge of Havana Vieja. Unfortunately there are some rooms (and I had one) which don't have windows and as a result they seem to suffer from damp. All the soft furniture in my room was damp to the touch and so were the sheets on the...

The Santander is a good quality hotel in a location 4 minutes walk from Havana old town, it is located opposite the Casa Blanca ferry terminal which is a must to take at 2cuc,s each way to the Jesus monument. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful and the room was a good size and well appointed in a...

Great hotel, staff is super friendly. Good location - walking distance to city center.Rooms are very big. Wifi had a pretty strong signal from our room, lobby usually has wi-fi cards you can purchase. They go pretty fast so purchase a few if you can. Rooftop restaurant was very good. Nice views, friendly staff. Good to have a drink and...

The historic hotel (4 Star Cuban Hotel category) occupying three buildings from three different time eras & styles is centrally located in the old part of Havana, overlooking the Port of Havana. Staff is super friendly and helpful, especially reception staff. Rooms have aircon and safes. Reception downstairs also offer more safe space. Beds are clean and practical furniture provided....

Didn`t stay at this hotel ( I visited after my cruise). Located 5 minutes from cruise terminal in a lovely busy location on main road, good for sitting with a cold drink people watching. Nice open terrace at front of hotel with seating area and lovely open bar, clean and modern but has kept its oldie world charm.

Probably expected more given the publicity pic of the room with the four poster. We had 301 - comfortable enough and with a bathroom the size of the bedroom - but not spectacular. Some of the dimmest lighting I've ever experienced and a view of the run-down residential area behind the hotel. Best to keep curtains drawn. Reception first class,...

Great location overlooking the Port of Havana. Some of the rooms are rather grim and without windows so make sure you get one of the rooms with doors leading out to the huge balcony. The staff were very friendly here, particularly in the bar where you can have a good snack lunch. There's also a restaurant on the top floor...
