The hotel is excellent, specially the personnel services beginning from the custodian, to the clerks at the reception as well as the workers in gastronomy. Assistance was given any time we requested. Bedclothes were changed daily and so the beds were made and the room cleaned. No reason to complain. Dayami and Yamilin were there for us 24/7. I truly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location, easy walking distance to all the sights and it’s very close to the iconic Hotel National de Cuba, which is a must see! The staff are amazing, especially the front of house/reception, the pool staff on the roof deck, and the ground floor bar staff who were all friendly and helpful. I used the gym and the pool, was both a good experience.
The breakfast was a good variety of local and continental options, buffet style with a range of drinks/juices.
Taxi from the airport to hotel and return to the airport cost me £10 sterling each way, but of course the taxi guys do try to charge double that, so negotiate amicably and pay a fair price!
I had a slightly scary experience on my final night at the hotel, when a strange man entered my room at 11.30pm! I had to chase him him and report him to reception downstairs. I was told he was the maintenance guy who accidentally went into my room. I was not given an apology by the manager nor offered any resolution, as I wasn’t able to sleep that night due to anxiety etc. Imagine if I had been a less able man, or even a female, I dread to think what could have and would have happened! The matter was reported to Trip.com who apologised but it should have been the hotel manager who spoke with me, and I felt disrespected that they still to date have not bothered to contact me!
Overall, the hotel is nice, but it was just my end incident on the final night that messed up my experience. Barricade the door from the inside with a chair and the cupboard door, just to be on the safe side, as anyone can enter the room when they want, any at time!

Hotel with dilapidated rooms. Reception and ground floor redone and very modern, if you try to book a room that is not one of the few suites that have, at a disproportionate price, you find yourself inside a 70s room. Not to mention the food... Booked with half board, the dinner available was a handful of white rice, a piece of chicken breast and I had asked for boiled vegetables, they brought me pumpkin past that I had expressly refused when they proposed it. Quality of hospital food... Restaurant cleaning non-existent... During the breakfast buffet, qualitatively poor, quantitatively pure... Okay, first things first a massive thank you to Hugo, Avianna, gretel and George at the nh capri. You made exploring Havana easy and exciting. To be honest all the staff at the Capri were amazing!!! They were so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable about organizing activities and places for us to visit.
The hotel gives an international vibe in the lobby and restaurants but old-school Miami vibes in the rooms! The rooms may need a little refresh but they suited us fine. We stayed on the 15 floor. It was clean (cleaners came once a day) towels were changed regularly (you hang them up to signal you are happy to reuse them). The beds were SO comfortable, we had the best night's sleep here! We had the breakfast option and were completely happy with this! There was a lot of variety and food was regularly topped up. We loved the French toast! The wifi was temperamental and the best connection was in the lobby but your in Havana, go outside!!! You get 5 hours worth of internet and it can be topped up for free when it runs out. We did try lunch and dinner in the hotel, these were table service and offered good options for a reasonable price.
The hotel was a short taxi ride to old Havana with a couple of good restaurant to eat in surrounding it and a small shop a couple of meters up the road.

The NH Capri Hotel in Havana was an extraordinary venue for the Seminar on the Management of Intellectual Property, Transfer and Commercialization of Technologies in Science and Technology Parks. We met for 4 days in the Zafiro Room (Floor 4) and the attention was excellent. The room was in impeccable condition regarding lighting, climate, furniture and the technological equipment we used. The attention at the Coffee Break and lunch level was exquisite and in general the attention of the staff was exceptional.

Despite being part of the NH chain, which is excellent, hotels in Cuba do not meet the same standard. Our room, at first, had the AC only working as a fan, but the reception staff accommodated us in another room. The beds are comfortable, the shower is good, the internet (taking Cuba's standards into account) is good, and it works in the rooms. At reception, people tend to be a little off, but they always serve you with great care and a smile on their faces. The pool is delightful, and there is bar service until the evening. Fast elevators! Keep in mind that Cubans are calm and slow in our opinion when it comes to providing service, that is, be patient when asking for things. Breakfast is fabulous, but there's no butter (I've never seen that) - special attention to Giselda: lovely, always polite, cheerful and helpful. The location of the hotel, despite not being in Havana Vieja, as Google Maps sometimes points out, is privileged, right next to the Hotel Nacional, and easily accessible. The hotel is accessible. The staff at the entrance are always helping us, with taxis, tips, currency exchange, etc. The gym is a little weak, but enough to keep your workouts up to date. The view from the pool at sunset is wonderful, worth a time lapse, and on the other side, you can see the Nacional with the blue sea in the background. At night, in the hall, there is always a band playing.

Very good hotel, good experience, the hotel staff is very kind, especially Avianna, in charge of public relations, comfortable beds, clean room, hot water works well, and elevator without problems. The location of the hotel is very good, in the Vedado sector (Habana Nueva), one block from the Hotel Nacional, so it has several services in the sector. The hotel is about 30-40 minutes walking (10 minutes by taxi) from the historic center of Old Havana. The buffet breakfast is good, not so varied, but always in sufficient quantity to eat well. It has a restaurant on the top floor, and a cafeteria in the Lobby, both very affordable, compared to going out to eat at a tourist restaurant in the area.

I think for Havana this hotel is a fairly good standard. A little dated but over all clean. Food in the restaurant is affordable and the staff are attentive. We ate breakfast downstairs the first two days but upstairs the second two which was much nicer. The cocktails are good and only cost a few dollars. The pool has a good view. The reception lobby area is a little sparse but they often had live music on which was appreciated. The location of the hotel is good, you can easily walk into old Havana along the sea front in 30 mins or so, and we were glad to be out of the centre. Also the restaurants are better value in this area than old Havana. We spent 4 nights in this hotel in Havana which was more than long enough.

In Cuba, the electrical outlet is of the American type, that is, TYPE - A.
Likewise, the voltage in the rooms is 220 V although in the common areas of the Hotel it is 110 V.
