Based on recent reviews, I booked 2 rooms well ahead of time and confirmed before arrival. Was therefore most upset to discover on arrival 1. there was no second room available (the story as to why changed several times) and 2. the alternative offered was dark, practically windowless and totally without charm. Rosa did find us a better option eventually,...

We stayed for two nights/tree days in Casa Amanecer. Rosa and Juan are great hosts, warm and welcoming and very helpful. Their casa is super clean and very conveniently located only five minutes walk to the historical centre. Highly recommended.

Rosa and Juan Carlos are very kind and welcoming hosts. The location is conveniently situated in center of Santiago, but very quiet at night. Rosa and Juan Carlos are a lovely couple. Both are very good cooks (every guest should try their excellent dinner), and also a nice chat and good advisors on the citie's events. We just loved our...

How lucky we found this casa! Rosa is one of the warmest and caring persons we’ve met during our travels through Cuba. Her house is beautiful, colonial style with a huge entrance and the rooms are clean and have a perfect size. Her breakfast is extended – she even had some Dutch bread toppings. Before we moved to Casa Amanecer...

We really enjoyed our stay here. Stayed 2 nights at Rosa and Juan. Juan showed us the way to the centre and where we could go. Rosa reserved a lot of casa's for us in the rest of Cuba. They don't speak english but he you're in Cuba. It is a beautiful colonial house with a roof terrace if you...
