Our tour group had drinks at the bar and lunch on the first floor of Mansion Xanadu. The upstairs views were spectacular and the beach was very nice as well. The exterior needs some work, but the interior of the former DuPont Mansion held up very well. Everyone in our group enjoyed the scenery and the lunch was very good....

A stroll down the beach at Las Americas was rewarded with this lovely building where we enjoyed the best cocktails we had during our stay in Cuba in their top floor bar. We also enjoyed a lovely sunset and a band playing good music. If you are in the area make sure you don't miss this gem.

Went there just to quick visit and drink a beer or two and it was really worth to do that. Spectacular views and the actual house has old fashioned charm. There are six unique rooms and a high quality restaurant. Highly recommended

We stayed here for 4 nights, in Rooms 222 and 225 with DB&B as a last minute choice on a visit to Varadero. The mansion is not so distinctive on the outside, (some re-painting is needed, but I had the impression that this was work in progress during our time there) but the interior is well preserved with dark wood...

Very beautiful and the view is gorgeous. Always music at the upstairs bar and it is fantastic. Relax, listen to the music, have a few drinks and enjoy the view. :-) Also, try to have a look around the boutique hotel. It is really beautiful and if you have time stay and enjoy a delicious dinner.

My family and I, brother, sister, and two teen aged nephews, made dinner reservations while staying at a resort nearby. We arrived on time and were made to wait. We were not overly concerned by this as we used the time to visit the upstairs bar and to look around the basement which was formerly the wine cellar. When we...

If you're looking for a beachside hotel but don't want to stay in a resort, this is your place. The house is a gem, and the rooms, while slightly run-down, are very clean and comfortable. The view from our room was spectacular, and it's just steps to the beach. The food is good, if very rich. The bar on the...

Didn't sample the hotel or restaurant, but stopped in for a tour and a drink. The tour (2 CUC) was kind of a joke...conducted by a receptionist that seemed to be doing triple duty and had to keep running back to the front desk. Place has an interesting history, built during the 1930s by the Dow family and the furniture,...

We spent an enjoyable late morning at this delightful place. I would have loved to have stayed here but it was fully booked at the time of our visit. The ground floor is a restaurant and rooms are on the first floor. The crowning glory of this place is the bar on the top floor. Mahogany panelled with views over...
