It's a nice place, food is delicious and in banda abou, the locals really understand customer service with a smile, they serve with heart and make you want to come back. It's on the main road so great to either stop for dinner or lunch.

We stumbled upon this pretty restaurant and were very pleasantly surprised. They grow their own veggies and everything from the salad to the bread was fresh and delicious. We had the boulliabaise, beef croquettes, egg salad and Thai chicken salad. Yummy local food with great flavors, reasonable prices and a friendly waitress. We hope to come back during our stay!

We enjoyed dinner here twice on our trip. Bread with garlic & butter served warm was great. My husband had Flemish stew & I had Bouillabase Creole the first time. Everything was delicious. 2nd time, I had a pasta with chicken & he had the Bouillabase Creole. Again, the food was delicious! We ordered coconut creme brulee for dessert both... More

We stayed for four nights in the apartment with an outdoor kitchen. I think the owners are focusing their efforts on the restaurant portion of the business, which seems to be effective since the restaurant is very good. Our accommodation was okay, but not great. Little details that would have made it better were overlooked. It could have been cleaner... More

While on our honeymoon, we dropped into Landhuis Daniel for lunch one day on our drive back from climbing Mt. Christoffel and were very pleasantly surprised! The restaurant is very tropical, clean and has great food! We had a delicious Caribbean seafood soup, beef carpaccio and fish and chips. While eating we got to watch an iguana wander the garden... What a jewel! We stumbled across the Landhuis Daniel after stopping for breakfast in February, 2014. Since that time, we have returned twice to stay (and dine) there, in April and May, 2014. Another trip is planned for the fall. For those who enjoy privacy in the midst of nature, Landhuis Daniel is just ten minutes west of Hato International... More

3rd time to Curacao. Large group of divers. Love to eat out and heard Daniel's breakfast was something you can't miss. 1st year tried to catch him open twice- never did, 2nd year tried twice and was able to eat breakfast. It was amazing! This year we checked his website and decided to give it a try again. Drove up... More

I stayed in this hotel a few years ago for a few days before meeting up with friends in Aruba. I thought it was a very nice hotel, I took a cab there since the hotel is a bit inland from the airport, but there were buses or one would have to rent a car. It was really cute with... More

This is a nice restaurant setting, outdoor seating, near Barber on Curacao. We went one weekday evening without reservations based on reviews. It was not bad, but also not great. Very, very limited vegetarian options. We ended up going with salads and a cheese and mushroom fondue which was quite rich. One of the salads was very good and the... More

This restaurant is in the country, so best to go if you’ve already rented a car. Taxis might cost more than your meal. Walking in to Daniel, you get the feeling that someone converted their patio into a restaurant. It has a homey vibe…but not in the best way. What the atmosphere lacks, the food makes up for. Everything we... More
