We stayed here for a quick two day trip to curacao before heading to Aruba. The stay were absolutely phenomenal and offered us water during check-in before showing us to our room. Each room is thoughtfully designed with its own theme. The rooms were so cute and immaculate. We were celebrating our birthdays while visiting and they surprised us by decorating the room with balloons and a birthday sign which was such a sweet gesture. We absolutely loved their courtyard as well, its such a beautiful oasis, I wish we could have stayed longer. Parking was a breeze as there is street parking outside of the hotel. One thing to note, the hotel was a bit hard to find with google maps but just look for the beautifully painted building and it the green building across the the street, there is a side entrance with red doors on the green wall. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the downtown area and is close to many restaurants. We felt very walking around during the day and at night. I hope to return some day as this was the perfect place to stay.

Wishing I could go back this second!
The place itself is beautiful, dreamy, modern, cozy, bohemian/tropical feel and clean! - the patio is gorgeous, great for some pictures too. The location is awesome (I originally booked 2 nights in case I didn't like it, stayed my entire 8 days!) Felt like a local and right at home. Walkable to everything in the city; safe, close to restaurants, nightlife, nearby small beach, 2 min from the bridge, OtraBanda & Punda. 5 min from Pietermai. Accessible and easy to get around without a vehicle - (though to explore the rest of the Island, get a rental car, Dani was great at arranging one for me). Dani is the kindest host I have come across and so informative, with great recommendations; only a message and call away, quick to respond and genuinely helpful - made such a difference to my trip, specifically travelling solo. The staff overall are great, made my stay extra special. 100 out of 10 recommended!

I found this amazing and magical place of calmness in the middle of the city of Willemstad. While walking and enjoying artists, paintings and murals in the old neighborhood called scharloo i peeked into this boutique hotel and needed to stay there. It has a magical garden where you hear the birds peacefully sing during the day and at night, the light hanging on this tree illuminate calmness and tranquilite and you are a walking distance of the busy city were i loved the UNESCO buildings and beautifully bridge that opens, what a nice island. While walking out of this fabuleux boutiquehotel i also saw an excentrique guy walking there and i was told that it was the painter of a floral mural that i saw from my balcony. from the hotel i wqs walking to the districts of Punda and Otrobando and loved the street art. i was so close to it all. My room was very nice, very comfortable and the decoration and use of colors was also very unique, nothing like i experienced before. the room was very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made me feel at home and they were always available when i needed. Eddy was great. He assisted us and also give us nice tips to explore the island. The manager was also very friendly and helpful and also give us some nice tips on tours.

We have a wonderful stay at Hotel Atelier. The staff was very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel itself is a beautiful old colonial mansion…the wood floors are especially magnificent! They have a back patio with a tree in the middle that is really cool and beautiful. I can definitely recommend this hotel!

I can’t say enough nice thins about this place. Very pretty hotel right in the center of town, very close to a bunch of different restaurants, shops, museums, and other attractions. It was very easy to walk nearly anywhere we wanted in downtown and see historic sites and buildings. The concierge was incredible with helping us plan our trip around the island and making sure we knew what we should do. Additionally, when our rental car broke down, she drove us to the airport on a moments notice. Truly some of the best service I’ve experienced at a hotel before and could not recommend enough.

Diego and Corisa, the stars of the hotel staff, deserve special recognition for their exceptional kindness. When I fell ill, their genuine concern and thoughtful assistance were beyond what I could have expected. It wasn't just about hospitality; it was a display of true compassion. Diego and Corisa, thank you for being the shining examples of warmth and generosity. Your impact on my stay was immeasurable, and I can't express enough gratitude for the heartfelt care you provided.

The room was great. I only used to for sleep, shower, changing. I was spent the majority of my time out. So in that context, it was exactly what I needed. Has everything you need. Clean, good bed, cozy room design.

One constructive remark. Make the keys to the gate more accessible to guests. I had a car, I had the park the car inside the gates every night, but I had to walk half-way around the block, access the side-door, get inside to get the keys. Making the keys more accessible would be great for late-night arrivals.

Luckily, you guys have Diego. Diego was awesome. He provided excellent service, always super attentive, checking up on me via whatsapp from time to time and meeting me at the gate late at night to open. I cannnot appreciate his help enough. Thanks Diego!

Thanks, Mr. Marlon, for your time and for submitting this review. At Atelier Skalo Boutique Hotel we value our guests and their feedback. We're glad to learn you had a pleasant stay with us. Although the hotel has Public Parking around the property, we occasionally offer our guest to park their car inside our premises upon request. For security reasons, we cannot grand our guests access to the key, but Diego is available via Whats App or a phone call, to open and close the gate for our guests, even after hours. We are happy and lucky to have him indeed! As our hotel in growing in popularity and more and more of our guests are renting cars, we are glad to announce that we are currently working with our neighbors to offer new private parking options soon! We hope to have you again soon!

We had one of the best accommodation experiences in Curaçao at Atelier Boutique Hotel. The hotel is extremely well located, 5 minutes walking, we arrived in the central part of the city where the moving bridge and countless cool restaurants are located. The rooms offer incredible comfort, the staff are super attentive, and a spacious, warm and welcoming environment. On our next trip to Curaçao we will definitely stay here!

This hotel gave exceptional customer service. Super friendly, clean room, comfy bed, and convenient location. We checked into this place last minute (we ended up leaving a nearby hotel early because we were dissatisfied due to several things) and Atelier was the best solution. Stress free check in and check out. We could really relax here (it’s so peaceful and quiet). Thank you so much, Atelier, for an amazing stay!

Some recommendations to help give your hotel a more competitive advantage: The toiletries were a nice touch! Consider adding hair conditioner - that’d be really nice! :-)
Also some guests might appreciate housekeeping to come in once a day to make the beds, change the towels, etc. That’s one thing nearby boutique hotels offer which is really nice.

Thank you again!
