This resort is a true gem in the area of Piscadera on the Island of Curacao. Modern and clean with incredible views of the ocean and the nature reserve across the bay. The staff were very attentive and professional and made us feel right at home. great beach and restaurants within easy walking distance. This truly was home away from home.

Beautiful place with everything you need to spend a beautiful family vacation. The photos published by the accommodation are just like reality. Peace, tranquility and security. The staff is very friendly and always responded to our needs. I recommend renting a car to see all the beaches of Curacao. The prettiest Kenepa Grandi and Chica, although Daiiboi Beach is also beautiful and you don't have to pay to enter, there are many like that. In my opinion it is not worth paying to go to others like Port Marie or Jan Thiel, but it is worth going to Cas Abao at least once (although you have to pay).

Upon our arrival, we were greeted with an upgrade to a bungalow unit over looking the bay and the ocean. The unit was brand new down to the utensils and cookware still wrapped in plastic. Every aspect of the unit was spacious and open with almost every thing we could need for our two week stay. Our unit did not have a washer/dryer, but other units do have them. The maid service came about every 2-3 days and replaced the towels. I believe the pictures will speak volumes for the bungalow and how much of a nice stay it was.

The property has an enormous potential and the original idea was great. The views and the staff are awesome! Some of the nicest people I have ever met BUT the place was initially designed as a resort, they went bankrupt and sold the individual units to private owners and stopped construction midway...

As a result of this, you have:

- An entire complex of building (Piscadera Bay Complex) in front of the Piscadera Harbour Village resort that were originally designed as a shopping/restaurant group of buildings tare now abandoned, with graffiti, broken glasses, homeless people and stray dogs, all kinds of peole go in and out of these buildings at night so a huge safety concern! If we knew this, we would have never booked this place. When we initially arrived, I wanted to turn around and find a new place because the entrance in the resort is through this deserted complex of buildings.

- On the resort property there are buildings thar were started but never finished.

- The imdividual units are not properly maintained. Ours had windows that were missing the locking system (so the window was always open), the insulation of the windows was broken and the glass was making noises when there was wind, we've has water fosets that were not properly attached to the sink and they were wobbly, the bads were not confortable and were naking a tone of noize.

Overall, I would not recommend this place...

My wife and I stayed here for 10 days and were happy with the accommodations. The bungalow was comfortable and had almost everything we needed. The management office staff was incredibly helpful and actually saved us, as they allowed us to check -in a little earlier than usual and we really appreciated it.. We were originally at the FLORIS , across the street for 1 day & were forced to leave after we found a rat in our room.

A must try when on Curaçao. Awesome place. Spacious living room where we with a party of 5 could stay easily. Big kitchen. Two large bedrooms. Sofa bed in living room. Flat screen with in house wifi. Digitel internet TV. Great view with nice sunsets. You can even sit on the roof. Pool nearby. If you havea car cool place to stay. The beach is in walking distance. The pirate Beach. It’s not always free. We had a wonderful stay. Around the clock security. Gated frnce with code to enter. Will be back again. Merry Xmas and Happy new year 2019.

I stayed here for 9 days and the place was comfortable. It is more of an apartment rental and less of a hotel because the amenities are pretty limited. Here are the pros and cons I experienced:
Pros
New apartments
Clean surroundings
Some of the staff tries to fix the problems in the place

Cons
Hard to get warm water- it is possible, but hard. Needed to set up,something to attempt yo get warm water and it was not always possible.
There is a restaurant very close and on Fri and Sat the y play music really load and until past 1am. This makes it impossible to sleep in some of the rooms.
Cooking tools need improvements- some of the pots were horrendously old and unusable. I complained about and the gave me a new pot. Still they need to throw away the others. The stove and oven are very small, hard to make a complete dinner.
Housekeeping is very basic and not very good. The swept the floors and changed towels twice, but never cleaned the bathrooms in 9 days.

I rarely ever write reviews, but I couldn't pass on sharing my experience at this property. One word....BEAUTIFUL! If you're not one for the busy "hotel" crowds, then this is the place for you! It's a gorgeous new property that also has purchased condos, however all the lovely basic amenities you need from a hotel....with a tranquil view of Piscadera Bay. We spent 5 days on the island and had more than enough space in our 2 bedroom condo! It was clean, very modern, and most importantly peaceful. The only issue we had was the hot water switch for the showers were on some kind of timer & would shut off randomly. But all we had to do was call the front desk & they came right away. The front desk staff was soooo friendly & helpful, especially Shariluska! She suggested all the places, restaurants, activities, and night life that were best on the island.....and even drove us & accompanied us on some of our tours. She is truly the best concierge person I have ever encountered at ANY hotel! If I ever visit this island again.....there's no other place I'll stay than at Piscadera Harbor Village!

This was my second time back in Curacao. I wanted to stay in a quieter area... last year I was downtown Pietermaai... so I opted for Piscadera Harbour.... I'm so glad I chose this beautiful area. I was able to get to all the top beaches and I was close enough to downtown. The bungalow I stayed in was more than enough for one person but I'm so glad I splurged a little as the views and accommodations were great. Large kitchen with everything I needed. Every morning a family of kittens came by and of course I spoiled all of them. Renting a car is a must if you stay in this area but I was told that buses and shuttles are fairly easy to come by. Luisa and Shariluska are lovely hosts and the staff was great. PHV is actually a neighbor hood that was under development and lost funding so the condos and bungalows are now for rent. There were minor issues with electrical but overall it was no problem at all. I'll be back again next year....

Bungalow is bigger. Check out my review. Made a lot of pictures. Thumbs up please. Bungalow has e sofa bed for 2 in the living room. There are 2 separate rooms with king size beds. Each room has its own bathroom. Big kitchen. Back porch and roof chilling place perfect for sunsets. A must try when on the island.
