Recently had the opportunity to stay in this wonderful nature cottage apt. Ideal for the outdoor enthusiasts, close to hiking trails and three sulphur spa baths. These baths are great for all day relaxation The staff at Chez Ophelia are very attentive and friendly and willing to help you out in any way. Staff is very cheerful, great way to begin your day. If you looking to getaway and relax this is the place to go

I have been there two times already, and i am not dissapointed, the swhole staff is amazing (Désir and mary you are not forgotten) welcoming, calm, nice always provides good advices, check you to know if you need something. Ophelia and Mark are very welcoming.
Each bungalow has its own "balcony" where you can just seat to eat or appreciate the view. very spacious room everything with everything you will need to cook. The garden is well maintained. Copt Hall is close to the town (Roseau)but not too close it's a quiet place near the falls and sulfur springs. the weather is not to warm or cold enjoy my stay enjoy Dominica in family or solo traveler.

We loved the views over the valley as we sat on our veranda. Just a short drive and we could connect with several walks through farmland, round lakes or up to waterfalls. At the end of the day a soak in a natural hot pool was a wonderful bonus. It§s a good idea to sort out meals the day before as places to eat are small and limited but very willing to help and tasty food.

Unfortunately, you can not award 0 points. the hotel has clearly had it. dirty and massively in need of renovation. no service. location in the shade. it dries NOTHING.
I haven't felt this uncomfortable in a long time. Just horrible.

The service was excellent! The staff welcomed the 6 of us warmly and went above and beyond to ensure that our accommodations and meals were all set. The rooms were very clean and made us feel at home. We loved being in the heart of the Roseau Valley to experience nature while being so close to Roseau, the capital, as well. The only thing that took a little getting used to was the sound of crickets chirping at night and a few birds waking us in the morning; but hey, that's part of the "nature" experience we wanted right? We liked having free high speed internet too. We're planning on going back next October for the island's World Creole Music Festival.

Dirtiest place I have ever stayed. Mold, bugs, toilet covered in urine, just filthy and expensive.

my favorite place to go in Dominica.. great people. lovely environment. they make you feel at home.. the staff are amazing.. and.... it is a special place.. and you feel special when you are at Chez Ophelia.. will surely return soon.

I liked the tranquillity of the area. the garden of Eden with fruits and some medical herbs is well kept.. the rooms are clean and perfect... could not have asked for a better vacation...

I went with a group of college students to Dominica to do a cultural and academic exchange and Chez Ophelia was our host. The welcome was very warm. We arranged to have dinner there the first night and it was a lovely family style dinner with 3 courses! The evenings were cool and quiet nestled in the mountainside of the Roseau Valley. Location is close to town, clean and very charming with pretty flowers. The owner Ophelia Marie made it a point to greet us and welcome us not just to her establishment but to Dominica. We felt like we were visiting family. She also saw us off the day we left. Very personalized service and comfy accommodations. Will definitely book again for a getaway!

Few km from Roseau, easy accessible by bus, in beautiful nature surrounding, close to sulphur pools (20 min. walking distance).
nice bungalows from outside, needing interior renovation though (but clean nevertheless). Service was perfect-delicious breakfast (fruits, bread & butter, eggs& bacon, coffee) and exceptionally helpful and friendly host, providing us with very useful information, making reservation for dinner in nice Roseau restaurant on the day of arrival-including transportation with his own car and driving us personally to the ferry port on the last day, because the transport we ordered was late.
