Stayed here for 8 days and got a decent rate, but beware of additional charges that they will try to put on your room bill. I had an extra $100 tacked on to my bill (a lady from Florida was charged an extra $300) with no valid reason for the charge (this was after I had paid upfront for my... More

Thank you for writing your review, and choosing our Hotel in first place. However the reality is that you arrived booking one room for 2 people, and 5 people arrived at the hotel, the extra charges were for the breakfast included and there are no imaginary nor any charges made just to keep your money. If you have any issues... More

The hotel is amazing! I have been coming here for 4 years and it seems like the staff gets better and the property upgrades are spectacular. Each room in this hotel has a kitchen and dinning area. The kitchen stoves have been upgraded and they furnish silverware for you. All rooms have a safe, cable television, air conditioning and the... More

I had an excellent stay at the Acuarium Hotel and Resort July 1-July 8 2014. After an initial mix-up that was corrected the next morning, my stay was trouble free and enjoyable. I arrived at about 1:30 am and reception had no record of my reservation, however I was given a room and told not to worry about anything, all... More

I stayed at Hotel Acuarium because my friend had a time share there. The place was always clean and safe. The staff was very friendly. They even offered a shuttle to take you to and from the beach. That was amazing! If you didn't want to go to the beach, you could sit poolside and enjoy some cocktails. The only... More

I chose the Acuarium because it was better priced than other hotels more centrally located (US$77.00 plus taxes per night) and the reviews. Pros: (1) The accomodation I stayed in (1G) had a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area (with fridge, stove with oven and microwave), dining area, living room and patio. (2) Excellent hot water. (3) Fairly quiet nights. (4) Fairly... More

One of the best things about the Acuarium Resort is it allows you to "feel" the great things about the Dominican culture unlike many other hotels there. We work with groups and send many individuals and families there, and their feedback is always very positive. The staff is always professional, courteous and goes out of its way to give you... More

I traveled with a group of 17 people to build houses in the DR. We stayed at Acuarium and found their accomodations extremly comfortable. We needed an additional room for the group, and they were very accomodating in ensuring we were in the same area of the hotel. The air conditioners didn't work in a couple of the rooms, but... More

This place filled the bill for a vacation away from the cold and snows of February in Canada. We could relax in the quiet, well maintained Acuarium resort, enjoying the ambiance, facilities and the guests who became acquaintances. We joined tours to the old colonial part of town, to Los Tres Ojos park, to Saona Island, the beach at Boca... More
