Holidays are subjective and expectations differ so the following review is my opinion only.

We stayed for 2 weeks in swimout room 5306 located a stone throw from the main TRS lobby with shade in the morning and afternoon sunshine.

The room is spotless with great air conditioning and a hige four poster bed, we opted for 4 latex pillows and 2 complimentry bottles of gin from the wishlist sent by the ebutler butler.turquesa@trshotels.com

The swim out has plenty of room for a float and your own bali beds with loungers to use.

24hr room service is available with a good choice of the usual pizza, burgers etc and different choices for breakfast, lunch and night time.

All the restraunts with menus are available on the Palladium app which you can use by entering your room number when you check in, otjerwise your butler who is lacayed just outsode your room from 7am to 11pm can help you reserve your restraunt choices.

You need to remember this is not Little Britain in the sun you are in a foreign country so please dont bother comparing the food, we personally enjoyed the food but some so called foodies will moan forgetting they have paid for a middle of the road 5 star and refuse to pay out for a Sandals etc...... As TRS guests you have exclusive use of Helios, Caprichio and LaBoheme which are far more superior to the other restraunts located in the sister Palladium hotels which you also have use off.

The TRS lobby bar serves alcahol 24hrs a day and coffee etc, we nipped there in the mornings for a cappuccino to bring back to the room you wull need to ask for coffees to be made very hot as theor default is luke warm, they are always happy to meet your requests.

The staff are outstanding and do not expect tips so please do not feel pressured, if you do want to tip please be aware they would be extremly grateful as their wages are low we personally felt 1 dollar for a drink and 2 dollars when eating and the housekeeper we left 2 dollars a day, the butler 20 dollars for the first week and 10 dollars the second we never felt we where obliged so please only do what you feel comfortable with remember this is your holiday!

Really important you will be approacwd around 3 times by the travel team in turquoise tops offering to show you around the hotel unless you want to spend 3 hours of yiur holiday being sold the travel club politely refuse but be firm.

Chic cabaret is worth the extra charge the entertainment is great however lower your expectations for the food, the Chic bingo is also a fun night out.

The hotel is great for a relaxing stay we thoroughly recommend it for the price point and you will have a great time just go with the flow and appreciate your surroundings!

TRS Turquesa is great holiday resort. We flew to Punta Cana on Friday 22 march with TUI, and sadly they had a 2hour delay which did make our day longer than we had hoped and not arriving at our resort until gone 7 in the evening. Being part of the Palladium Travel Club we had our own transport from the airport to the hotel, which is nice along with our our own check in area. Our room was on the third floor on the poolside with an ocean view, which was wonderful to wake up to. The room itself is a little bit tired and could do with some updating but we primarily slept in it so nothing too much to worry about. There were butlers for each block but sadly we never got to see our butler until the day we left - not a good thing that as they should be checking on you to see if there was anything they could do for you. The food at TRS Turquesa is excellent, being part of TRS allows you to go to 4 Adult only restaurants plus access to all the others on the Grand Palladium site - about another 10, but we did find the food in those not so good as those in the TRS section. The beach and pool were a stones throw from our balcony with plenty of sun beds and more importantly no need to get up at the crack of dawn to get a bed - still free beds by the pool and beach at 10 o'clock. Sea was beautiful and clear and no sea weed during the week we were there. We checked out on Friday 29th March just as the Easter crowd wee arriving and things getting a lot busier. A big shout out for the waiters/waitresses (too many names to remember), but a special shout out to one young lady at the front desk was Suleica, she remembered us from last year as I have a chocolate allergy, she always had a smile on her face and happy to talk to us.

Recently stayed at the TRS Turquesa and we had an amazing time from the moment we walked into the lobby. We were allocated a room in block 56 where we were greeted with a great big smile and amazing welcome by our butler, Francisco. The butler team at block 56, Francisco, Oscar, Julio and Cesareo were first class and couldn’t do enough for us, they really are credit to this hotel. We were shown to our room which was as good as we could’ve hoped for and brilliantly maintained by the cleaning team. The pool areas, beach, restaurants and bars were excellent, but the biggest compliment I can give the hotel is the unbelievable staff, every single one of them, barman, waiters/waitresses, cleaners, gardeners, reception. They all made our holiday amazing. Thank you all and hopefully see you all soon.

They upgraded us to a bigger room because they overbooked the room we wanted but the one we got was in such poor condition. The drop box for room service wouldn’t lock, leaving access to our room for anyone. The curtains had holes and blood on them. The door to the pool had no handle. The shower head broke and fell off mid shower and hit my fiancé in the head. House keeping put ripped sheets on our bed. There were three major leaks, leaving large puddles in our room and our clothes wet. There was a leak in the bedroom window, the wall next to the front door, and from the ceiling fan. No doubt there is mold from all the water damage. The Wi-Fi in our area stopped working on the third day, leaving us to walk to another area to use it. The tv stopped working at one point and we had to fix it ourself. There are exposed wires on the outside of the building. The paint on the tub is chipped and the vent on the side was falling off. The restaurants weren’t any better. You wait over an over for your food to come out, most of the time cold. At Helios, we got there an hour before they closed and my food came out 5 minutes before closing and they told my fiancé “sorry we don’t have what you want, we’re are closing in 5 minutes, come back tomorrow.” Each order we placed either came out wrong or not at all. Warning to people who have gluten sensitivities, they don’t know what gluten free means and think it means cheese and they put bread in their gluten free dishes. The moment you get there they schedule a “tour” of the resort but it is a scam for the time shares. Our tour guide was super friendly until after four hours of him trying to convince us and us saying no many times, his demeanor completely changed and he just seemed annoyed with us. We even overheard another staff member say she would lose her job is they didn’t say yes to joining the travel club. Hotels should not be guilt tripping people into spending more money.

The manager of the hotel was gaslighting us by telling us this is just our perception and to figure it out ourselves. I cannot believe this is how they treat their guests.

Overall the rooms and the gastronomy are sub par and I would not recommend this place.

The worst vacation ever, rooms are dated, food disgusting uncovered and flies all over the food, alcohol choices very limited no top shelf and watered down. Booked for 7 days and left the resort after staying 2. Resort management informed us that we would be charged an extra day for leaving early and refunded for the other 4. That did not happen because we booked through Palladium and the had a non-refundable clause if you leave early for ANY reason. They make you pay on arrival for your entire stay which puts the burden on you to try to get your money back when your back in the states!

Palladium does not care of its members well being. We were here for 8 days and there’s no cold water and cannot flush toilet between 6-8am every morning(Bldg 50) On our first morning we’ve reported that there’s no water coming out and that we cannot flush toilet. They said they’re not sure why as it never happened before. So on to the next morning and again, no water in the morning. Called them again and said they will send someone but no one came. By the third day I gave up and just didn’t use the restroom until water came back. We’re usually out all day and one day we came back to our room at 2pm and no water again!! Until around 6pm. They keep saying they will send someone but no one came. I’m one of those people that don’t usually get angry but this time I lost my cool. So they moved us to a better room but only on our last evening.

One of my complaint is that most staff doesn’t speak or understand English. One of the waiter is new and hardly speaks English and the busboy had to translate for him. They should hire staff that are fluent in English and should understand you when you’re talking to them. We arrived pretty early on our first day and had to kill about 3 hours prior to check in. So we ate lunch first and walked around the beach. We took one of the golf carts and told the driver we still need to check in and get our luggage at Travelers club lounge. He then took us at TRS lounge when we specifically told him Traveler’s club lounge. I informed TRS lounge personnel that our luggage is at the club’s lounge and no one seems to know what they’re doing.

I’m giving two stars for the restaurants and Domingo our waiter who is always so polite and attentive. The food and drinks are good. They have good selection of different cuisines.

We wanted to try a different resort and wanted to see if we would like Palladium but we were very disappointed the way they handled things. We’ve always gone to Sandals resorts and never had this kind of problem before. So if I were you, go to Sandals instead. Your vacation should be sorry free and you deserve to enjoy your precious time off.

Staying at TRS was such a great experience! The swim up rooms were amazing and very relaxing after a day at the pools. Jonathan in building 58 was very accommodating and was able to assist my family with anything we needed. One night he even had a bath prepared for my wife after a long day, it was a nice surprise. I had asked him for something not that important and told him it could wait until the next day…his response “why wait until tomorrow when I can get it tonight”. What a great guy.

We had the best week. Our butlers made sure that we had everything we needed to have a great day every day, especially Jean, victor, Emmanuel Emmanuel and Diana and Miguel. These butlers are rated number one the best ones in the books. We will definitely come back then.

My daughter and I enjoyed very much our stay at your resort, TRS Turquesa Hotel in Punta Cana DR, however, I would like to inform you that on the day we arrived we were told we had to meet with the representative from Amstar to discuss our departure time for our return flight and to book any excursions. When we arrived that morning for our 9:00 am appointment we were told by resort staff that we would be shown to breakfast and a tour of the facility and it wouldn't take more than an hour to an hour and a half. We thought that would be good so that we could see the whole resort and make plans as to what we wanted to do while there. We could spare an hour of our day...or so we thought. We were kept until around 1:30 pm!!! That was about 1/3 of our day! They (The Palladium Hotel Group) misled us by not telling us that it was going to be a sales pitch to purchase a vacation plan. After we told them that we weren't interested they kept sending over other people to try and persuade us. Needless to say that we were not happy AND we never received a tour of the resort!😡

I had an amazing time! All staff were so nice, helpful and fun especially Steven, Alfredo, Dalmi and Choco Zumba! I highly recommend staying here.

The food was great and the restaurant staff were very kind and provided great recommendations.

The butler service made our stay stress free. They made our reservations and provided assistance when we needed no matter what!
