We stayed for 6 days 5 nights for my wife birthday and we loved the resort one of the best resorts in punta cana so far,customer service was good the manager at front desk Enrique was very helpful and Orion,Yeraldin and Johan at the lobby bar very friendly and helpful also the bar bubbles at the pool was fun and the guys friendly very profesional Clarivel,Bryan,Robinson and the rest of the guys were on top of us making sure that we were doing good.

We recently had my son’s wedding here and honestly it was shambolic . The customer service is the worst I’ve experienced in a long time . The list of complaints is too long but includes ; no water in the wedding day , cot collapsed with baby in, taken $100 from account on card for no reason , made numerous compliant with no response . Please do not book this hotel . It’s not a 5 star hotel and the management do not care what so ever . I’m taken my complaints further but save yourself the trouble and please book elsewhere.

Here now with wife and a 2yr old. I paid for a diamond club family room via Tui (UK). I reserved a room via hotel site ($)- which I got. The resort - nice, but tired rooms.. Food - good selection, poor kids choices Problems - Locals (lots!) allowed in at the weekends (splash bands)- was mental!! Food queue (filling up tupperware), bars all taken over. Swim up bars - unable to get close as stairs/bar full of locals eating drinking smoking in pool. Then everyday, the American graduates (Grad city) drinking all day filling the pool bar and in the evening the other bars, (half of these are from splash side) then running up and down corridors and slamming door ALL night... loud, obnoxious. Also witnessed a group of them damaging hotel speakers I between PC and Splash side - which I challenged then reported. Tui rep informed, aware of the problems as is the diamond club manager and the hotel manager - nothing has changed. Diamond club - waste of money. Definitely not the 5* hotel I paid to experience. If I was informed this would be the case, I wouldn't have come here. Can see why it was removed from the platinum collection - Tui should have been honest!

We booked this resort based on the fact that it was advertised as an ALL ADULTS - This was not the case! We were celebrating our anniversary and it did not turn out as we had expected. If you are looking for an ALL ADULTS only resort, do NOT go here. 1. The all adult section is separated by a walkway from the family section 2. ALL restaurants are available for everyone - there is no adult only 3, Children run through the hall ways of the adult section and even swim in the swim-out pools that are supposed to be private 4. Most of the activities are for everyone in all the resorts 5. Smoking is not allowed in the dinning areas, hallways and balconies - That's a lie as well - We even asked to speak to someone about this and NOTHING The beach, weather and people were amazing but having to deal with children running around in restaurants and even cutting you off was not what I was looking forward to. Needless to say, it was not a relaxing anniversary vacation. We were there May 6 - May 11 - And as of today, I have yet to hear from management about my concerns and this is not what I would expect from a Marriott property as well

David the yoga and fitness teacher is very friendly. The yoga session from this morning was so nice. I tried it for the first time here in Punta Cana, and after those 30min, I feel so relax, full of energy and ready to work 11h on my flight back to Brussels. Margarita from the buffet is a very positive person, always smiling and trying to solve any issues. Francisca from the coffee bar is also a very nice person. She knows what you need and looks ahead by making your coffee with a lots of love. Thank you guys for being those wonderful people! The flight attendant

Just returned from an 11 night stay.On arrival we were shown to our room which was nothing like the pictures and definitely not 5 star luxury! it was dark, 2 double beds and a baby cot, the terrace backed onto the service road used by delivery drivers and bin men.We went straight to reception and was told to speak to the rep the next morning, We went backwards and forwards and was told we would be moved as soon as possible, however this didn't happen, we contacted tui and was promised it would be sorted, it wasn't and we felt like they weren't interested. All the rep was interested in was selling trips,the hotel is beautiful but I would say 4 star not 5 ..however the beach is definitely 5 star and the beach bar! lovely pools and restaurants are great, I would return but not with Tui, never again,customer service is appalling but what a beautiful resort with lovely friendly staff and fabulous cocktails! busy and noisy ,lots of children staying!

I stayed at Royalton Punta Cana from May 8-13, 2023 with my husband and 10 year old son. This was our first time in the Dominican Republic and our first time at a family all inclusive (my husband and I have previously been to Sandals resorts). The water is a beautiful blue and the sand is very soft. The beach area was very nice and had many shaded lounge chairs. We paid for the Diamond Club upgrade, so we had access to the Diamond Club bar and special section of the beach. We rented a beach cabana one day and Maria gave us top notch service. We also had a butler, Narciso, who was wonderful. He made all of our dinner reservations and took great care of us. He also managed to change one of our reservation times when I wasn’t happy with how late it was. As part of Diamond Club, we got invited to a dinner on the beach, which was a neat experience. We felt that the Diamond Club upgrade was worth it. The resort website is a little misleading because it says “Reservation Free Dining” but it was our understanding that if you didn’t have a butler to make reservations for you, you had to take your chances going to a restaurant and there was the possibility that it would be completely booked with reservations. We witnessed this on our last night when we had a reservation for Hunter Steakhouse at 6:00 and they were turning away people who did not have a reservation. The food throughout the resort was fine but nothing spectacular. The drinks were good, though, and my son has a new love of non-alcoholic frozen drinks. The pools were all very nice. The main pool was usually pretty busy, so we would hang out either in the pool right next to the main pool or the Diamond Club pool. One day we went to the water park at the Royalton Splash next door and it was fun. We had originally thought about staying at the Royalton Splash but were glad that we decided to stay at the Royalton because we spent a lot of time in the ocean. There is a tram that takes you between the two resorts, but the walk isn’t really that far. The staff was very friendly and we had great service. Maria (who I mentioned above) even gave us all hugs on our last day. There were some issues with the water while we were there. Some of the toilets weren’t flushing for a while and we had to take lukewarm showers the one night, but everything got resolved fairly quickly. Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation. We would go back to Royalton Punta Canta again and we would pay for the Diamond Club upgrade again if we went back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Royalton Punta Cana, a luxury all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic. I’m a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member and love to stay at the Royalton brand because of the great resort features and amazing accommodations. The beach is one of the resort's best features, with direct access steps from our room and personal tiki huts for the ultimate escape to a peaceful oasis. We opted for Diamond Club to have a more elevated adult experience with us well worth the upgrade to have exclusive access to lounge areas, a private bar & most importantly butler services. We had the pleasure of being assigned to Narciso, who was absolutely impeccable with communication and hospitality. He went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was nothing short of fun! He made dinner reservations for us, assisted with a birthday surprise, and even recommended local activities & the best restaurants to try. He was always available to answer our questions with a simple text and even checked in each day just to say 👋🏾👋🏾 The cleanliness of the resort is one of many factors that we continue to prioritize the Royalton brand. The rooms were spotless, and the public areas were well-maintained. The staff was also very attentive to cleanliness. Overall, we had an amazing time at Royalton Punta Cana. The resort is beautiful, majority of staff is personable, interactive and attentive, and the amenities are top-notch. I would highly recommend Royalton Punta Cana to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation. The only two downsides to out stay were a few maintenance issues and the Front Desk Manager’s ( Daniele Fregoni) dismissive attitude. On our first day, the air conditioner in our room was not working properly. We reported the issue to the front desk, and they sent someone up to fix it. However, the air conditioner still did not work properly, and we had to request that someone come back to fix it two more times. The third time, the issue was resolved, but it was frustrating to have to deal with sleep interruptions for three nights. The other issue we encountered was with the Front Desk Manager( Daniele Fregoni). We had a few problems with vendors within the resorts booking excursions. Although we paid and confirmed the excursions with Jose Maleta from Nexus Tours- they failed to show up. Upon waiting for over an hour and asking Jose what happened, he did not solve the issues and wasted our time for the day. We had to reschedule the Buggie excursion for the next day. We tried to speak with the Front Desk Manager’( Daniele Fregoni) about it the issue and the extreme lack of communication/ accountability form Nexus Tour Rep in their resort. However, he was very dismissive and did not seem interested in listening or developing a resolution. This was disappointing, as we were hoping that he would be able to resolve our issue or even provide an apology for the inconvenience. Nexus Tour excursion was fun but honestly, your time is wasted/ limited by vendors trying to upsell you & buy things versus actually enjoying the ATV experience. Despite these few issues, we had a wonderful time at Royalton Punta Cana. The resort is beautiful, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the amenities are top-notch. I would highly recommend Royalton Punta Cana to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing vacation.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESORT! I was very shocked and utmost disappointed when my daughter, along with her group of about 30 friends and their families, was miserable on her senior trip after graduating high school. There is no words to describe how blatantly rude every single worker here is. I have never felt more unwelcomed by a group of people. There is no AC in the rooms, despite having asked for either a room swap or someone to fix it. It was unbearably humid and hot in the room. My oldest daughters boyfriend came with us. On our last night, he began saying he could not breathe. When asking staff for the medic on the resort to come to our room, the lady looked at my youngest daughter and told her to hold on despite her telling this rude staff member that someone in her room COULD NOT BREATHE. We had to yell outside hoping random strangers would hear us and maybe one of them would be a doctor. God bless the sweet man from New York who rushed in to our room. 2 hours later, he was transported to an emergency room 45 minutes off the resort. The cause? A heat stroke. Yes, it was very hot outside. But the fact that we had to come into a room that was so stuffy probably did not help. Food was terrible. Staff was awful (like seriously terrible). And, diamond club is a waste of money. GO TO THE HARD ROCK. DO NOT GO HERE.
