This has been one of my favourite holidays. My friend and I stayed here for 10 nights though the time just flew! Currently sat at our last breakfast here before we have to fly home and I'm really sad. The food choices are plenty with numerous restaurants to choice from. I am vegetarian so I didn't have as much choice but still had something. Don't come here if you are vegan. The entertainment and bar staff are all fabulous. They are happy and friendly all the time and always there to put a smile on your face. The more you tip, the more service you get, also. The hotel and the grounds are maintained wonderfully. Always clean and tidy. You can request things from the app which are dealt with promptly. The resort is huge so there is something for everyone. We stayed by the party pool and beach mostly. It's been the first time I've spent more time at the hotel than out on a holiday which goes to show how good it is. I highly recommend the Scape Park, coco bongos and the shark and stingray swimming. All in all, a lot of these reviews are very petty. I was dubious after reading them at first but now I've been here it's taught me to take no notice. I will definitely be back!

Hotel's Favourite
Check in was easy the gentleman at the front Desk was so amazing and helpful. My husband to be Manny and I stayed for four days.. they upgraded our room for us for free. The Dominican show in the evening was amazing! Shout out to The DJ he is super nice. Variety of three pools was amazing..if you wanted to be in the middle of the busyness of everyone for fun or some romantic time alone with the one you love. We only ate at the Buffet but the food variety was good. Drinks were strong m, just the way I like them..definitely like the strawberry slush with a little tequila jeje. Our room was really nice. Overall a great stay and we will come back. The only complaint that I would have was that the younger crowd can be a little out of control and nothing seems to be done about it. I am all for fun but the Disrespect I seen towards the employees because of excessive drinking was ridiculous. Sometimes there should be a point where people are cut off.

This was my third visit to Punta Cana and first at this resort. I would not stay here again, only because I had better experiences at the other 2 resorts I stayed at (mainly the first one, Chic). My boyfriend and I stayed arrived Monday and left Friday. The rum drinks were weak and I had to ask for more. We did tip every time, for drinks and meals. The buffet food was average, but then we had a spectacular meal at Kulinarium East. The menus are posted outside each restaurant and we were headed to the Indian place one night but got sidetracked by Kulinarium. The service was wonderful, as was the meal. This was the best part of the stay. The red wine served at dinner was better than I expected. We also had a dinner at the Italian restaurant, which was a buffet, but the service was poor due to lack of employees. Our room was nice. There is the weird peep show frosted window in the shower which would be awkward if you were rooming with a friend or family member. One morning we didn't have hot water, and another there was no water (very early in the morning, but then it came back on). Most of the employees were friendly. One night I had nonstop wine refils at the outdoor buffet seating. I think the people who didn't seem friendly may have been intimidated by the language barrier. We didn't have trouble finding beach chairs. The beach was relaxing, but the water is rough. We could only walk out to a certain point in order to avoid getting knocked down by the waves. There are also plenty of chairs at the pools. I did not go down any of the water slides, but they looked fun. They are closed on Wednesdays. We regret being taken advantage of by the people in the Legendary shirts at the airport. We agreed to getting picked up and taken to the Hard Rock for their membership sales pitch. In return, we paid $100 for an excursion, which was a great deal, but then due to poor planning on our part, could not participate due to the timing of the required Covid-testing. So, several hours of our first full day of vacation were wasted, having to listen to a high-pressure sales pitch. We got to see beautiful villas that we will never afford to stay in. Our sales person was a lovely young lady who spoke English very well, but we had to say no to her superior sales guy many times. We were offered a day pass for that day to enjoy the Hard Rock Resort, but we hadn't brought swimsuits, so we declined and got a ride back to our resort. The actual Covid testing is done the day before departure, and was a quick process. The next morning you go back to the desk to get your results. The resort is lovely and large. There are plenty of restaurants and bars, and two buffets. The weather was beautiful and the beach was clean. I did not see a seawood problem. Our room was clean and always well-stocked. I wish we had taken advantage of more of the specialty restaurants vs. the buffets. We also did not have the Jerk Chicken that is apparently at a shack close to the beach. Tip: you can ask for drinks to be served in glasses vs plastic cups at the bars not located by the pools. Tip: beware of the Legendary people at the airport. Tip: if you forget to bring small bills of USD, there is an exchange place at the airport and you can get pesos for tipping purposes.

My partner and I had a lovely stay! Lots of areas/pools to choose from depending if you want relaxing or a party. Certain staff remember you and are lovely…especially Jaison at the relaxing pool at the back of the resort. He would bring us drinks without asking, so we tipped him 5 or 10 dollars every days. Food is good, as you expect of all inclusive/buffet. The Italian and Chinese are really good!! The resort is extremely clean which is great to see. All in all lovely stay, we would definitely stay here again.
