we used to get a cab back, charged us 5US, but some try you for 10

The taxis are RIDICULOUS. It's $10-$14 USD each way to the market. Since it's about a mile each way (and up an incredibly steep hill) there's no way to walk it. I did find out there's a "bus" that might come to the hotel... More

It's a brisk and slightly steep ten minute walk to the nearest bus stop, but I'd take a cab into town and take the bus back to the hotel. The wonderful location does compensate for this!
