Room and kitchen equipment basic but acceptable. Village nice and clean. If you like hotel atmosphere and animation for kids (and yourself) you will like it! Restaurants and supermarket quite expensive, so worth having a car and get your own food and drinks. Otherwise, if you don't feel like driving, you still find everything you need at the hotel. Staff...

Beach and pool are nice but the front desk staff were not helpful and seemed genuinely overwhelmed. Room has absolutely no charm but we didn't spend time there, instead we were on the loungers oat the beach or pool. Wish the front desk were a bit more friendly and had more customer service mentality.

Pierre & Vacances can be a great place to stay IF you manage your expectations and plan accordingly. What you need to know: 1) You MUST be fluent in French, not just here, but in Guadeloupe in general. If you're not fluent in French, try somewhere that caters to tourists (most of the tourists here are from France or Quebec!)...

Half of the resort, including the main beach was closed due to works. Rooms were ok but the resort is several kilometers away from the village, there is nothing to do in the evenings - the hotel programme pretends there is something every evening but most evenings there was an activity for half an hour, like a dance course, and...

The rooms in the Premium section are quite nice and spacious. The kitchen area is in the outdoor patio and includes everything you need to make meals. What a great help this was for our wallets as we found the prices at the restaurants outside the hotel to be quite high. At one restaurant where we had lunch it cost...

The experience was that of a mass holiday camp. The worst aspect was the buffet dinner, typical camp steam-table fare with little relation to real French or Creole food. As check-in time and the closing of beach towel availability were both 4:00, towels weren't available for the first of our two days. The depth of the sea water inside the...

The Pierre & Vacances is not a good place to stay if what you're looking for is comfort and relaxation. The staff believes in "learn as you go". So for example, you will not know that there is no housekeeping until you come back to your room at the end of the day to realize that the beds were not...

The Sea is too shallow to go above your calf There is a beautiful huge pool though. The say they speak English but they do not. It is out in the middle of nowhere ten miles from the closest town which is St France's. You must have a car as the dinner buffet is not good costs $'30 euros Breakfast...

We spent 2 weeks early of August 2015 in the P&V Resort. 3 children 4 11 14 We recommand Guadeloupe island if you're looking for a protected please without many buildings (e.g. St Domingue). But local standard is not so high and customers services are limited so 'do it yourself' It means rent a car at the airport, have a...

Spent Christmas week with husband and two college age kids. Disappointed by cramped 2 bedroom usint. Food at Creole Restaurant left much to be desired, even at the buffet, selections were very wealk at high prices. Entertainment loud music; no performances. Beach is beautiful and pool was fine. Staff require support in customer service.
