I had a horrible stay at La Pepiniere. Although the location was nice and peaceful! My room was changed three times due to broken faucets and no space for my luggage in the room which was in the corner of the hallway on the 4th floor. Then I was moved to a room with dirty walls with dirty shower curtains. I was finally moved to a room with no shower curtain and where I could hear everything that was happening in the room across the hallway and downstairs with a band group who behaved like they're the only one in the hotel. The pool was not well maintained. But, the people were nice to me when I got sick from something. They were very kind in making me tea and advised me on what not to eat until my stomach was settled. The food was OK. A lot of things need updating. The rooms are not clean to hotel standards.…

When I stayed at La Pépinère, to be honest with you, my expectation was to the ground (not kidding); I didn't even expect to get a clean towel. But, boy was I surprised? The hotel is much-much-much better than what you will pay for it. For starters, it has everything you will find in those big hotels in Petionville and more. You will have armed securities around the clock (if you have ever been to Haiti, you know how important that is), the bar (though small) is open 24 hours a day (you will never have to go to bed thirsty or sober), you'll have AC in your room and you'll have a remote to control your own temperature, you'll have a small (very small) TV in your room with limited channels, you'll even have a mini fridge in your room to keep your mid-day snack fresh, the hot water is on point with great water pressure (please, don't take this for granted, you'll be surprised how many hotels don't even have hot water; this is Haiti, after all), and don't forget free transportation to and from the airport (I did not use it, I had my own ride) and free breakfast. However, the walls are super thin, you can hear everything, and I mean everything, from the guests chatting in the hallway to the couple exercising (I think) in the room next door. The Wi-Fi is ridiculously pathetic, seriously, it is horrendous. If you are lucky, you will get a snail like connection if you are sitting in the lobby (in very close proximity of the router), good luck being connected while you are in your room; it’s not gonna happen. But overall, La Pépinière offers an unbeatable bargain for what is being offered. And the staff is AMAZING; the management did an excellent job picking their employees. From Chris to Nahomie and the rest of the team, they are all very courteous and offer great customer service. But if anything is wrong, do not hesitate to find PJ (the manager), he will do all that is possible to make sure you have an excellent stay. I would stay at La Pépinière again, you can't find a better bargain in all of Port-au-Prince; but they have got to do something about that damn Wi-Fi connection.…
Nice place, not soundproof though. You can hear the other rooms tvs and music playing. Nonetheless, right price for the right duration of stay. It was a nice and new experience for us, haitian culture and food was splendid, fast and very presentable.. Staffs were nice and rooms were well maintained. Overall, good stay.
Rooms are clean, AC everywhere, conference room, transportation by mini bus, , close to business centers. This place is also a short distance from business centers and is amenable to business meetings and dinners. Esay transport to and from Airport
