Michelle Neita has transformed a house into a very nice bed & breakfast. We had been flyng/driving all day when we arrived, so knowing that a Jamaican dinner was going to be prepared for us was good news. The better news was that the food was very good! Michelle was enjoyable to talk with and very knowledgeable about Kingston. She...

In deciding to open our home to travelers from around the world, we decided that our unique value proposition was to offer guests a taste of the Jamaica we know and love. Tucked away on the edge of the city limits, apart from the hustle and bustle of our capital, Kingston, yet still within it, our home has proven to...

I found Michelle Neita to be a most gracious, knowledgeable, & interesting person herself. Her place is very charming & comfortable and is located at a lovely little spot. Her staff is as charming as she, & our food needs were catered to just right along with some education about some local Jamaican fruits. The airport pick-up/drop-off driver whom Michelle...

At Neita’s Nest we always use fresh local fruits that our foreign guests may not be as familiar with or exposed to. Our cook Charmaine thanks you for the warm compliments, and for my part, I am happy that the information that I gave you about our country was of great help to you. Here at Neita’s Nest we always...

Spent three nights in Kingston, with Neita's Nest as our base of operations. Michelle was very helpful, taking care of finding a driver to pick us up and take us to the airport and suggesting what turned out to be a very good guide for our day trips. We had to leave at 6am to catch our flight, and she...

Spent 5 days at Neita's Nest in December and we were very glad to have chosen it as our first base in our trip to Jamaica. The setting of Neita's Nest is fabulous, set high above Kingston, with stunning views of lush green hills and the city below. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to Neita's Nest ... A Jamaican Bed and Breakfast service in a private dwelling enjoyed for decades by families and friends as it lends to easy entertaining. The breathtaking view of the sunrise, the show-stopping ascent of the full moon, and the mist-wrapped mountains after rain can all be enjoyed from all three guest bedrooms, as well as from the wide verandah - a perfect breakfast/dinner nook. Our floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows make for indoor dining a no-less picturesque experience. Neita's Nest - in Bridgemount, Stony Hill The approach, a winding, uphill challenge and now favoured-path of the fittest exercise buffs, is one of the oldest roads in the parish of St. Andrew. Built by slaves some 300 years ago, it still meanders through the residential area of Bridgemount, long-since named for this little-remembered piece of history. Historic Bed and Breakfast. Situated on the property that once housed The Captain's Quarters for Fort Bridgemount, an 18th century mountain-top British Army post, this 1960's chalet-styled home, now Bed and Breakfast to the world, is perched with a commanding view of the mountains surrounding Kingston's Liguanea Plains. Bird Watcher's Paradise/ Artist's Haven. The cool hills surrounding this upper St. Andrew home nurture a year-round verdant view, with the lush, untamed hillsides providing the perfect hideaway for over twenty species of local and migrant birds. But who's counting? The sheer joy of being awakened to nature's harmony creates the perfect setting of sights and sounds to inspire the creators of les beaux arts, the writers of poignant poetry and the composers of melodious music.
