Great experience there. The staff was amazing and the value of rooms was good for your money. Best part is that the staff takes you out at night. They keep you safe while your out in the community at night. They also cook great food in the hostel for an affordable price. I recommend that anyone who goes to Jamaica,...

Very friendly and organises transport to evening events like Sunday at Dub Club. Not all the lockers in dorm rooms are lockable. Otherwise it has all you would expect and a nice little bar outside. The location is conveniently central too.

A typical backpacker hostel, very friendly staff and good security. Well located near the Halfway Tree transport centre for travel across the island and supermarket etc close by. Free coffee and a good WiFi connection, although no hot water in the showers, but it's so hot you don't need it...a good option

I stayed on and off for a couple of weeks as a solo traveller (in the private room) when the hostel was super busy in February. It was a perfect experience at every level..the fantastic, cool staff (big ups to you all, esp Scotty, Nicky and Nicole), the hostel vibe itself (super conducive to socializing), and the brilliant location (center...

I stayed here in September 2015 during a research trip. Three things (two positive, one less so) stand out. First, the staff were helpful and kind. There were always three or four staff around to help and I never had problems navigating. In particular, the early-morning staff, who cleaned up, did a great job and were always cheerful and nice....

I spend 3 nights at the Reggae Hostel and truly enjoyed myself. The staff does an excellent job of making it a memorable experience with the daily and nightly activities. They're very friendly and helpful which goes a long way in my book. I'll never forget my night out in Kingston with Nikki (one of the hostel staff)...so much fun!!!...
