It was nice to stay there, the price is worth it and the dorms are good but the place is not clean at all the the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming at all! The staff is uninterested and doesn't really care therefore it's not possible to feel homely. It outside the city and a 15 minutes walk to the main...

The Bird's Nest was by far my best hostel experience ever. The staff was awesome, the hostel clean, Julia took us to the super market in the mornings and to the beach. They organized a bbq party which was great, we had homemade german sausages, delicious!! Although it is in a residential area of Ironshore it is super easy to...

One of the main negatives here is location. It's safe, but a little removed from everything, and just to get to one restaurant worth eating at is a loooong walk, the kind I wouldn't necessarily want to do at night alone. It takes taxis to get everywhere, which means the constant negotiation Jamaicans are known for. It gets old. But...

It's such a nice hostel, everything is super clean and looks fantastic. It looks so fancy for a hostel with the pool and everything. The neighbourhood is really safe. It is quite far from the beach and restaurants, but it's worth it for the safety. And you can take a route taxi for a dollar to the beach or restaurants...

Went with a good bud from college on a kite mission. Julia holds it down on the kite operations as well as the super relaxed hostel front. There are usually a handful of Kiters there that Julia is teaching/managing day trips to nearby spots. We rented a car and joined the daily missions, scoring at the Chill Out Hut. The...

The hostel is nice and the rooms are good. The location, however, is a bit off, and you will need a cab to get around. If you want to stay off the hustle in Mobay, this is a decent choice, but there's really no restaurants or similar around.

I stayed at this hostel for one night after landing in Montego Bay, and before travelling to the east of the country. I used the double private room that was large and clean. The whole place, the pool, bar and property surroundings looks as advertised. Julia was helpful, and may stay was comfortabe. There is free wi-fi, but you will...

After reading all of the wonderful reviews here on TripAdvisor, I thought there was no way I could go wrong booking this place. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of those "too good to be true" moments. Katarina, I think, met me outside and showed me around. She was honestly one of the very few bright spots in my...

If you are a laid back person looking for a quiet, safe, gorgeous and laid back place to stay while in MoBay, this is the place for you. The owner, Julia, is super helpful and fun. If you want to try out kite surfing, Martin is the man!
