My first trip to Jamaica alone led me to Ugo and Siobhan's sanctuary. Their house is located in a serene neighborhood yet, so close to downtown and some main attractions. Siobhan and Ugo are warm, kind hearted and fun. They went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable, entertained, and well fed. I was supposed to...

Our family of four (boys ages 18 and 16) were treated with such kindness and hospitality, it is hard to imagine a better stay in Jamaica. The property and the valley are serene and comfortable. Ugo, Siobhan and Carol not only made sure we had everything we needed but went out of their way to help us experience Jamaica in...

We spent just one night at Misty Valley when we arrived in Jamaica but wished it had been more. It took us about 25mins to get there from the airport - up into the hills. It felt like we were a world away from the hustle and bustle of Montego Bay, but just a 10min drive put us back in...

I can recommend staying here. Siobhan, Ugo and Carol are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is far from the beach and downtown but they offer pick up and drop off service. It is located in the mountains and it is just beautiful and peaceful. The view from the balcony and the pool is really stunning. They have a...

The small guesthouse is run by the incredible family of Ugo and Siobhan Archibald. Their home is located a 20 minute drive outside Montego Bay in the mountains. They have a pool and and big porch beside it where you can hang out the whole day with an amazing view over the hills. They have beer and snacks for sale....

Staying with Siobhan and Ugo was amazing! They are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and their lovely home looks over a beautiful valley. It was wonderful waking up and drinking local coffee while sitting by the pool and watching the clouds roll over the hills. The room we stayed in was simple but perfectly adequate for what...

Misty Valley is so much more than a beautiful, peaceful bed and breakfast - thanks to inspirational hosts Siobhan and Ugo - their insights into the real Jamaica, let alone their life insights are generously shared, fascinating and interesting.
