I read a review from someone who claimed the rooms here were run-down. That was certainly not OUR experience. We thought our room was just lovely, although not very large. We had room #15, which adjoined the pool and had a beautiful view of the ocean. Bathroom was very nice and all the fixtures looked quite new. AC and fan... More

This is a great place for comfort and just relaxation. I would go there just to relax my brain and look out at the sea in the mornings as that view is splendid. The pool 🏊 is warm and the way that hotel is set up in terms of the architecture is also mind blowing. Try it out... great hotel... More

A little hotel close to the centre of town - you see familiar faces around the hotel everywhere and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere less touristy and truly Jamaican!

OH DEAR. This is the third time I have been here and lets just say, standards have plummeted. For starters, we used booking.com and like any ordinary booking system, assumed that our payment had been processed. When we arrived at the hotel we were slapped with the inconvenience of having to fork out money that apparently had not gone through.... More

My husband and I just stayed at the Hibiscus for a week and thought the hotel was great. Our deluxe room was spacious with a comfortable bed and large balcony with fabulous view of the sea. All staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was never too much trouble to book us tours, taxis and restaurant reservations, even by... More

We stayed here for just 1 night but it was the perfect little break. The room was cozy and the grounds were quiet and inviting. We used the pool in the dead of night to take a short swim, which proved to be just what we needed before sleep. In the morning we went to breakfast an the views were... More

Stayed at this hotel for one nights stay. Loved how away from the main street this hotel was and that it had private parking. Check in was easy and was shown to our room. First impression of room was wow. It was clean, lovely deco with a nice little balcony, infront was a pool and sea views. Aircon and wifi... More

Our stay there was great, we enjoyed the breakfast, the place was quiet which we loved as we wanted a quiet time away. Property was clean and the staff especially those in the restaurant wee very friendly. Ava-Dawn at the front desk was nice to us.

I was looking for an overnight stop in Ocho Rios. Having been there before a few years ago, I re-visited Hibiscus Lodge. What I found was a nice, clean uncomplicated and comfortable stay. The grounds are well kept and quite scenic. The rooms are clean and pleasant with enough space to accommodate with ease. Breakfast was included in my package... More

The hotel/rooms are for sure run down. Need severe remodel. That being said the nature, scenery and friendliness of the staff was amazing. I would not stay here again due to the conditions of the rooms but we were here just a few days so made it work. Breakfast on the deck, balcony with gorgeous views and the friendly service... More
