Wow - we holiday a lot and have been to many places around the world - this hotel, the staff (everyone from reception to bar to waiting to gardeners I mean everyone) was first class - rooms immaculate food amazing atmosphere and entertainment 10/10 - we have the best week ever and will definitely be retuning !!

This was our first time at a couples resort and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The AU NATUREL beach wasn’t something we were tempted to try but the rest of the resort was exactly as we had wished, albeit the main beach and swimming area could have been slightly bigger. We were allocated a room in block E and whilst we had paid for a garden view, rooms in block E appear to have the larger balconies (two chairs, table, bed and a chaise lounge style sofa) and we could see the sea, albeit there were a few trees between us and the ocean. We were really pleased with our accommodation, with the room being well equipped and light, the bathroom had a large shower and twin basins, all very nicely decorated and cleaned daily by Sheryl to a very high standard. There’s a very good choice of food and I downloaded the app which enabled us to book tables at the Casanova and Belle Vista on several occasions and also get room service, which we enjoyed on a couple of occasions, having dinner on our balcony which combined with the personalised mini bars works very well. We didn’t indulge too much in the evening entertainment but that which we experienced was alright.
One reason for choosing this resort was the golf and we played six times. The course is nice, it isn’t the best I’ve played but a good holiday course with some challenging holes, all of which have fairly small greens. Whilst the green fees are included in the cost of the hotel, you’re charge $50 (US) per a person, per round for a buggy and caddy, which is compulsory and booking as a two ball gets you one buggy and one caddy for $100. Our caddy was Jason who was great, didn’t try to select my clubs, just pointed us in the right direction and helped reading putts, which is all I require for a holiday caddy. One thing to note, when arranging your golf there’s no option to select a tee time, you just book golf and have to be at reception by 8am for 8:15 collection (one tip: breakfast in the restaurant isn’t served till 7:30 but you can have it delivered to your room from 6:30) and the planned pick up time is 1:30 but you could have finished golf by 12 and the course isn’t part of your all inclusive package, so any drinks and food is payable, though the bus drivers always tried their best to collect us earlier and normally did.
We took advantage of the free trip to Dunns River Falls and paid for a raft trip, all of which we enjoyed.
The hotel is roughly two hours from the airport which is slightly longer than we’d like but it’s via the coast road, so there’s some nice scenery.
All in all, a very enjoyable holiday.

My husband and I just finished our trip to Jamaica staying at couples San Soucci. We had a wonderful time and this breath taking resort. There was hundreds of different photo locations throughout the resort which made this trip a social media paradise. We loved how big the rooms were. We loved that there was like 10 different hooks in our room to hang up towels and swimsuits. The salads at lunch and dinner were absolutely fantastic, super fresh and flavorful, best ranch ever 🙌🏻 Small resort so we got to know the other patrons during our stay which was fun to make lots of friends. We just returned from a wonderful week at Couples Sans Souci. San Souci is a charming and intimate resort built into the cliffs of an incredibly beautiful property. Our room was nestled in the trees and appeared to be recently updated. It was clean, spacious and modern, and the bed was very comfy! There were so many special spaces to explore around the property, including a well shaded grotto fed by a cool mineral spring that you could soak in after a hot day on the beach. The main beach is beautiful, well maintained and great for swimming and soaking up the sun, and there is a very quiet little beach near the gym and grotto with lots of shade where we could have some quiet time. The food was surprisingly good with lots of healthy options. Some highlights were the breakfast omelettes and smoothies, fish tacos at the beach grill, beef tenderloin at Casanova's, and the fruit/veggie bar by the mineral pool where the smoothies and snack plates were made with love! Yoga with Maji was amazing, as was aquafit, fitness and tennis. We used the standup paddle boards and enjoyed the snorkelling trips out to nearby reefs. There was some great entertainment, and we particularly enjoyed the jazz and Bob Marley tribute events near the Balloon Bar. Overall, this was a wonderful vacation and we would definitely go back- maybe for 2 weeks next time!

My husband and I had a wonderful time spending a week here in August 2024. It was our 2nd time visiting this resort. The resort is gorgeous, the food is delicious, the drinks are cold and refreshing. In our opinion Couples San Souci is one of the best resorts for water spots as the majority of them are included with your stay at the resort. You can use the hobie cats, you can water ski and/or wake board, you can stand up paddle board, wind surf, and kayak. There are also excursions for snorkeling and diving. The staff is fun and friendly and will help you with any requests. The water around the resort is gorgeous. The cove is so peaceful and the water is a clear light blue. The mineral pool is great for soaking and for participation in 11am water aerobics. The tennis courts are well maintained and tennis lessons are available at no additional cost for guests on weekday mornings. There is yoga each week day morning led by a local who really enjoys bringing peace and harmony to his participants. There are also cardio based classes during the week and/or the gym available for guests wanting to work out. We love everything about Couples San Souci and are looking forward to returning in April 2025.

We just returned from a 7 night stay. To say it did not meet our expectations is an understatement. I will start with the positives. The room was gorgeous and clean. Housekeeping is kind and great at their job. Check in was also a breeze and they were kind. Entertainment is good and both theme nights were great. We did have about 4 employees who made us feel welcome and were great at their jobs and I named them individually in my exit review.
The negative. The pools are dirty. Sunscreen floating on the water then sticking to you. Along with bugs and other debri. Service is slow for lack of employees and there are NO servers walking around taking drink orders at the pools or beach. You must go to the bar and get it yourself. The food is mediocre and plan on a full 2 hours even with a reservation. Some waitresses make you feel like an absolute burden even for a drink refill. Having said this my opinion is it is due to the no tipping policy. I really can't blame them if they are working for peanuts and can't get tips. We chose to tip (those deserving of it) and that did help somewhat because yes they will take your tip and it will somewhat help your experience but your pool is still dirty and your food is still blah.
I am a repeat Secrets customer so ventured out going here. This place is NO where near the standards of Secrets. My opinion is that there is a loyal following of people who go repeatedly back for Sunset Beach (the nude beach). They are so loyal to that community they don't care about and/or overlook the rest. Totally no judgement from me but I barely wanted to sit on their chairs or get in their pools with a suit on and certainly would not have naked.
I know I will get reemed for this review from some "loyal" Sunset Beach people but wish someone had told me these truths. Probably the best part was that 90% of people are there so the main pool and beach are pretty clear if you aren't into that.

Probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. From the room with the fabulous view over the beach and sea to the absolutely superb food served in various restaurants, we couldn’t fault it. It was service with a smile everywhere ! In addition there was live ‘easy’ music most evenings, we liked particularly sitting around the small bonfire on the beach listening to the man singing and strumming his guitar.
A trip to Dunns Falls was included in the price - a must do for all!! And also a sail up the coast in the glass bottomed boat.
Can’t fault anything about this hotel. Just a shame it’s so far from the UK.

This resort is beautiful. The grounds are lush. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain and everything floods. The rec staff and bartenders are good. I’ve been to this resort many times and I’m not sure what’s going on with the restaurant staff. You’re seated for breakfast, they ask if you want coffee and you’re almost done eating breakfast before the coffee arrives. Refills are scarce. I’ve had lunches where I was never asked if I wanted a beverage. I called the front desk and asked for a bottle of wine to be brought to our room and it never appeared. What good is in-room bar service if you can’t get the liquor delivered? Wi-Fi only worked in the room and in the restaurants, not by the pool. I am surprised that most of the buffet food on this visit was Jamaican food, which I’m sure many like. I’d prefer more variety as I’m not an adventurous eater. Housekeeping staff was good. Still, you’re in Jamaica and it’s beautiful and relaxing but the service needs to kick it up a notch if they want to charge premium prices. I do love that tips are not allowed.

I stayed at this hotel since it was the designated hotel for guests of a local wedding (wedding was at a nearby villa, not on the property).
The hotel is marketed as a five star resort and priced like a five star resort, but our experience was anything but.
1. Service was appalling. Passive aggressiveness from many members of the staff and downright rudeness from others. Housekeeping barged into the room on my first day there, and when I requested they come back later (I was on a work call), the woman informed me (somewhat snidely) that her shift was over at five. When requesting to book reservations at the restaurants, we were informed that we had to do everything on the Couples app and the reception staff was unable to help. Lastly, I called the staff to request a hair dryer (as there was none in my room) and was informed that they only had one hair dryer on premises - so if I wanted my hair blow dried I'd have to come to the salon. When I asked about the salon, they said the salon was closed. I found out later that my friends staying at the hotel had blow dryers in their rooms, so the statement that there was only one dryer on premises was an outright lie.
2. Food was sub par at best. Fruit was sad - bland and colorless and not what I'd expect from a tropical island. They were out of fish the first day I went for lunch. They said they had no mint when I requested a mojito. Not sure what other reviewers are experiencing when they praise the food here...
3. Internet was down for the entire duration of my stay. There were many of us in the wedding group that had to work during our stay, and having the internet unavailable was a serious inconvenience. We complained several times, only to be told that the team was "working on it".
The resort was so disappointing that another couple in our group switched to Sandals when they arrived at Sans Souci and saw the conditions. This resort is a $200/night resort at BEST. I would not recommend this resort to anyone except those who welcome disappointment.

This is by far the best all inclusive resort! I can’t think of a single thing to complain about. Everything started out great with the Couples lounge at the airport! Free Wi-Fi and drinks and a place to just relax until the shuttle was ready. The drive from the airport was a bit scary at times but our driver got us there safely…I think I just wasn’t use to driving on the opposite side of the road. Upon arrival we were greeted immediately and checked in and given a cold towel that smelled like a piece of heaven and a glass of champagne. The guy that took us and our luggage to our room was friendly and very informative. The staff was amazing, friendly, responsive and just all around great people. The food was great and we had a lot of different options. Omg the fruit was the best! Room service was prompt and our food was always hot! The property is breathtakingly beautiful! I wasn’t prepared for all of the steps we had to go up and down but it was so worth it! There was always beach chairs available and it was never over crowded! The nights where the lawn was decorated and food served was beautiful! Our room was always kept clean and the turn down service is great! The excursions were amazing and were on time getting us there and back! There was always a server ready to serve any drink we wanted and the minibar services in the room was done daily with plenty of options. Upon checkout everything was smooth! They let us know v in advance what time needed to be in the lobby for the airport shuttle and we arrived with more than enough time before our flight. I can’tsayv enough good things about this property! We are looking forward to going back soon!!

Theres various restaurants to use, but they prefer smart casual, try and avoid Tee Shirts and Flip flops, of an evening, especially Cassanova which is stricter, see you there Christmas??
I would not believe everything I read....
In 16 visits we have never found restaurant availability to be an issue. We do not pre book and wait until we arrive to make reservations.
Have never gone hungry at couples and usually need to shed 5-10lbs when we get home.
We just returned and during out stay, there were no lines and chairs were easy to find. There are loungers around the pool and loungers, palm trees and palapas on the beach. Plenty of room for everyone.
Unless you go looking for the Au Naturel, you will NOT see it.
Food variety for 7 days? You'll be fine! There's at least one alfresco buffet per week. You should be able to vary your meals quite easily as choices vary daily (mostly) :)
There are more places to choose from in the Ocho Rios area.
