We had a great time staying at the Negril Palms. This was our first time to Jamaica but not our first traveling to other countries. There are always little quirks when traveling but nothing major. The rooms were clean when we arrived and cleaned daily. The beach was a mess with seaweed after a storm but the staff worked hard every day to clean the beach up so we could enjoy it. The staff was very friendly. Sometimes the food took a bit longer than expected after ordering but it was always very tasty when we got it. Would recommend staying here!

This was our 5th stay at Negril Palms. We invited 3 other couples that were new to Jamaica. We had a relaxing amazing stay. Our rooms were clean every day. Lisa at the beach made sure the beach was raked and clean and every morning we had a beach chair with a clean towel on. Legion in the bar is always so kind and helpful. The food was amazing especially the chicken bacon pasta. I felt very safe all the time. Reynold at the gate was kind and when we stayed up late playing cards by the pool he would often check to make sure all was good. Staff was friendly always and some even interacted with kids in the pool playing games with a soccer ball. New lights have been added at the pool area making it very well lit. New bar stools and dining tables have also been added. We always feel at home when we stay at Negril Palms. Great location center of the beach with the HyLo, mall and bank and Catholic Church within walking distance. All of our group was sad to leave and plan to go back asap!

The place is right on the beach and they have beach chairs and umbrellas for their guests for free which is great! The rooms are sufficient, and clean, and they brought an extra bed in for us since we were 3 people. The food at the restaurant is just ok, but that is true in most of Negril, with a few exceptions. But be prepared to wait a VERY LONG time for your food without apology! One morning breakfast took 1 1/2 hours. They cook to order and they usually only have one cook, cooking one meal at a time. Wayne, the lifeguard on the beach, was AWESOME - helpful, nice, respectful! Expect Jamaican hustlers up and down the beach all day.

I wanted to try a local hotel during my recent trip to Negril. I have stayed at most of the all inclusive on the 7 mile strip and just wanted a more relaxed simple local experience. However, from the moment I got on the property everything went downhill. The room I booked was a single king but was taken to a double bed room and then was advised that there may be a king available. The scurity guard was the one who escorted me to my room because I arrived around 11pm and there main office was closed. Was given room 109 and the room had spider webs, roaches, dust, non functional tv, desk with the wood chipping off, and the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Not to mention that the curtain rods were broken and wheb i tried to close the curtains the rod fell down. I spoke to guest services the next morning once they were open and requested to be switched to another room and was switched to a room with water damage on the ceiling which smelled like mold. Although that room was much cleaner I coukdnt breath well so asked to be switched back. While I waited I decided to have breakfast on the property only to be told that the jamaican breakfast that was listed on the menu was not available and that they shoukd have the items listed around lunch but wouldn’t be serving breakfast at that time. Wifi was also an issue. I intended on working remotely but the wifi signal wasn’t working properly and I couldn’t load anything. I was told bu front office that it might be five days before the wifi would be working properly. I ended up leaving the hotel and booking an all inclusive after the 2nd night. I asked for a refund for the other three nights that I paid for and was told that I needed to go through booking.com to request the refund. I did just that and was denied. I have reached out to management at Negril Palm multiple times via email and no one has gotten back to me. I have tried calling and they either don’t answer or say that manager is not available.

This was my third time staying at Negril Palms and I've been going to Jamaica for over 30 years and stayed at most of the hotels on the beach and the cliffs... What's wonderful about it is the pleasant staff, the location, the location and the location!! My room was nice with AC and hot water and did I mention the super nice pool overlooking the ocean ...Beach Bar and restaurant on site .. Other restaurants and live music in walking distance on the beach side....Really .... Lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach included...Nice Breakfast place ( Donaldson's) next door with Captain Quality water sports and boat rides on the other side next door..... It's 24/7 security and it's just wonderful for a moderate authentic stay!!!You want be disappointed!!!!Ask for Kimisha or Javian

This is hotel is the worst. Find somewhere else to go. I’ve been coming to Negril palms for years and it just keeps getting worst my husband and I doesn’t require much but a clean and safe place to lay our head but good god almighty this place is terrible. The front desk ladies are rude AF, the room doesn’t feel secure and it’s dirty it’s like staying in less than a motel with hard beds, the shower has water that will not go down into the drain, the bed sheets and pillows are spotty and they claim that all they have bug in the rooms our neighbors have roach spray and don’t you open a pack of snacks you’ll have a room full of ants the next few seconds they floor is beyond filthy. The staff claim that it’s upper management and the owner that won’t give them the proper things they need for the property. They need to revamp this entire property because this is not it.

I recently stayed at your facility for work, having visited Negril multiple times before. Unfortunately, my experience this time was disappointing, as the website's images did not accurately represent the facilities. While the food was average, the staff's friendliness was a positive aspect. However, I was surprised by the significant difference between the standard and deluxe rooms, which was not clearly communicated during booking. Furthermore, the room I stayed in felt more like a rented apartment room than a hotel room, and the towels provided were not of the expected quality. I hope this feedback is helpful in improving the facilities and ensuring a better experience for future guests.

They either have no idea how to run a hotel or they are out of money to do it properly? You walk into a storage closet/front desk filled with junk. The rooms have nothing, no welcome message, directions for anything useful (TV, Internet, check out time?) , just tired sheets and frayed yellow towels. Bathroom was filthy covered in someone else's hair. No soap holder, toilet paper holder...just black mold on the ceiling. If they are going to operate during constructions, they need to at least make the rooms available operable. Fire Alarm went off in the middle of the night because of dead batteries scaring us to death. No blankets, hard to get the right temp in the cave like rooms. I can see why there is so much mold in the place with the lack of ventilation. It seems like a very half ass attempt to revive an old tired hotel. It was an interesting concept making the cave rooms among the jungle, but without the proper air, everything is going to mold. The old safe was rusted shut in the closet. The beach area is beautiful (and the staff working that area was very nice) and almost makes you forget how horrible the rooms are.

We stayed December 7-11. The first room had an AC w/ dead batteries in the remote, stained bath towels, cable tv that was not connected, half cleaned bathroom. We immediately requested a different room and got one the next night on the ground floor. The hotel is run down and in need of repairs and upgrades. The breakfast however was delicious and reasonable. The “jerk chicken” was really grilled chicken with jerk sauce absolutely terrible. The bar was scantily stocked and didn’t make good drinks. I would not stay here again and i have stayed at most smaller hotels in Negril and this was my least favorite.

Cant fault the 7 mile beach Negril, stunning place to stay. However service at Negril Palms was very poor, we stayed for 13 nights only ate there twice as service was so slow, food was ok but overpriced. Stayed for 13 nights charged for 14 nights hotel management refused to refund difference. Feel very disappointed with overall experience of this hotel, would not recommend. On the brighter side we spent most of our time at the Tree House just 2 mins away from the Negril Palms, food was fantastic, service was top notch, cost was very reasonable, management were great. will definitely visit again and stay at Tree House. Would highly recommend The Tree House Negril.
