We Stayed at the Legends from april 7th to april 14th 2013, upon arrival, we werent too impressed.... room was below average, bathroom door wouldn't close, an hour after our arrival the maid came and took the nice bedspreads off the beds, they are just to welcome you :), I have to say that the room service was excellent and...

Rooms are clean, most of the staff is friendly except for a few of the ladies at the bar. Bathroom only has bath towels, no face clothes or hand towels. We didn't take the "all inclusive", thank goodness as the food was mediocre. The beach is absolutely beautiful, Michael, beach security guy did an awesome job and is very pleasant.

We had a terrific time again as expected... We love the beach and people watching and Legends has the best of both... Of course there is a bunch of these hotels along the beach and each is probably special in their own way but Legends is our favorite mostly of because of the location...the only reason to use a cab...

My husband and I spent a fabulous week here. We read the reviews online before arriving and we just found what we were expecting: very kind and friendly staff, an excellent location and a beautiful beach! The bathroom is not really well equipped so just be sure to pack shampoos and soaps, hair dryer and extra towels for the beach...

My boyfriend and I stayed at Legends on the Beach for 6 nights. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean, well airconditioned and large. The pools, one small one on beach side and a large pool on the garden side. Legends has a garden side or beach side. Eventhough the garden side is...

I've stayed at Legends twice in the past 6 months during my stay in Negril. Yes, it is not like staying at the Riu but it was decently priced, in a convenient and fun location, staff is friendly/helpful and you pay for what you're getting. I come with my friends and this is great for us because we don't spend...

This is not a place to go with children. Immediately upon our arrival, we realized what a terrible mistake we had made in choosing this place. The front door of our room overlooked a chain link fence, wires, and a parking lot. The room was dingy, dark, and smelled musty. We walked down to the beach and were immediately harassed...

This was our first trip to Jamaica so we went with no expectations. Stayed in the beach-side rooms so we didn't have to cross the road and deal with traffic. Beds were made daily and clean towels were given, no wash cloths or hand towels. Bring your own shampoo, soap, hair dryer, etc. Staff were very professional and polite, grounds...

The room is less than a Motel 6. The phone did not work. Two bath towels. We could not have more than the two towels. The room was clean, but smelled. The light fixtures did not have covers on them. hey all! planning our honeymoon for december 14/15-20 in Negril, Jamaica! we've been looking at every reosrt that suits our needs but all resorts seem to have the same thing. we really like Couples Swept Away, however, it is on long bay like we would prefer, is it that much nicer than Legends? a lot of reviews say the staff is rude(CSA)- I dont want that ruining it for us! How is everyone is legengs-honestly? I really enjoy the idea of being able to stay at one, play at 2. does all inclusive really mean all inclusve? all drinks food/room service, non motorized water sports? Also, tipping, is it included as well? or is it expected from employees at Legends and Samsara? Couples resorts have a no tipping policy which I like the idea of not having to always have cash and employees wont be standing around waiting to be tipped. (if you do tip, whats a decent one?) We also want good food, and not have to wait 45 min to be acknowledged by a server then another 45 min to get food. (many resorts have reviews of this) I understand the rooms in ANY resort in the Caribbean islands are going to have a bit of "weather-ly love," we're not expecting marble floors and brand new furnishings by any means lol but we want something thats cool when we sleep, good view of the ocean and doesnt stink! Basically we want a decent room, good food, good drinks, and friendly staff that will actually go the extra mile to make our honeymoon fantastic! and sheesh the price difference between Legends and Couples!
