On the first look the Hotel seems to be okay. Room is big and beds have white sheets. In Port Antonio are not as many hotels so we choose these. But we would not do it again. We got a room directly besides the kittchen and the breakfast room. In the evening there was very loud noises from the kittchen... More

I just got back to my bungalow in New York, what a drab. I missed the exceptional service from the staff and the delicious food at Hotel Tim Bamboo. I cant wait for my next visit to Jamaica. The buffet on a Sunday is to die for. Everything on the table was good.I cant remember the name of the porridge... More

My experience at hotel Tim Bamboo was very relaxing and peaceful. The hotel's location is very central being only a hop skip and jump away from town of Port Antonio. For starters the rates are very affordable, the food is excellent , the rooms are very well kept and the staff are pleasant and polite . All in all Hotel... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. For the duration of our stay there was no hot water, and no internet. There were 3 of us and both days only 2 sets of towels were provided so we had to keep asking for towels. There wasn't even an iron in the room. There was no phone so we had... More

We stayed in Port Antonio while visiting my brother-in-law. However, he has no a/c in his house, and being someone who is accustomed to having a/c, I couldn't stay with him. The hotel was perfect for what we needed. It looks unassuming on the outside, but inside is decent. The staff is super nice and very accommodating. The room we... More

My partner and I visited the Hotel Tim bamboo in May 2016. Before booking the hotel, we reviewed the comments on Trip Advisor and compared with other hotels. We totally enjoyed the stay and would revisit if we needed a place to stay in that area. The exterior needs repainting and this gave an impression that this was a run... More

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Tim Bamboo especially because of the staff Antoinette, Mitchell and Travis. I got the standard room, which was very reasonably priced, spacious and was kept very clean. Because I got the standard room, it didn't have a television or air condition, but you could upgrade to a room with air condition and a... More

On booking the hotel via booking.com the description reads rooms come with TV and AC. I booked a basic room without looking at the small print and was surprised to find no AC or TV. For the price of the room £60 per night, you would expect TV and AC. That said, there was security at the hotel, the linen... More
