My wife and I took my parents here for two nights during one of their visits from the US. I can't say enough good things about this place: the food cooked by Barbara was delicious, especially the run down with fresh coconut milk; the cabins are comfortable and cozy; the guide (Steve) on the Cunha Cunha Pass Trail was very... we went with the Jamaica Tour Society as a small group to the blue mountains and then deep into the Rio Grande valley, stopping at simple, special Ambassabeth Cabins. Linnette, the operator a wealth of authenticity and knowledge, and all the persons who cook and guide,so committed to their goal, to the preservation of history and the land. our cabins... More

This place is so special - I have lived in Jamaica for almost 25 years and never have I been to a place so pristine, so natural, so spectacularly beautiful - the pathway to the cabins and the cunha cunha pass has more tree ferns that I've ever seen - HUNDREDS of them! - and wild heliconia, begonia, ginger and... We saw the elusive Giant Swallowtail Butterfly, how special is that! Fritz out guide... More

You will have the opportunity to meet locals and engage with them as well as enjoy the privacy and peacefulness this resort has to offer. You can hike the CunnhaCunnha or bathe... More

In all of my travels, I have found no place as endearing as the Ambassabeth Cabins. The ambiance of the cabins and the surrounding area made me feel completely emersed in Jamaican culture. From the colors of the cabins to the patterns in the linens, I felt as though I was truly a part of Jamaica. The most exciting/memorable parts... More

I learned so much during my stay here that this review could be endless, but the most important thing is that I see the Bowden Pen Farmers as heroes. To build, maintain, and improve Ambassabeth Cabins, along with the Cunha-Cunha Pass and now, Neem Park, proves that through unity, even the most exploited communities can create success. It is a...
