This resort was soooo awesome! From the time we arrived to the day we departed, we had nothing but praised for FDR...what an experience! When you see the commercial saying "come back to Jamaica"...trust me you will definitely want to go back! This resort has every accommodation a family needs, from adults, to teens and toddlers in between! But the...

My husband, myself and our 2 year old son just returned from FDR. Before we left, I had done my research, so I thought I knew what a good time we'd have. I was wrong! I could not have possibly imagined what a wonderful trip it would be. The service was exceptional, starting from the first night that we arrived....

I agree with the person who said, "This isn't the Ritz Carlton, but who would want it to be..." I knew exactly what to expect when I arrived, I had read so many reviews and seen so many pictures I almost felt like I had been there before. I needed a vacation and wanted to take my 2 1/2 year...

Just got back from the FDR and, as I said in the title, it's a 3.5 star resort. I travelled with hubby, 9-year old, and 4.5 year old. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Everything is, indeed, included so you don't open your wallet except to pay at the gift shop (you cannot charge to your room). -...

We appreciate your kind comments in general about our staff and we sincerely apologize to your family for any inconvenience experienced on your vacation. We do wish you had advised the Front Desk that you were unhappy with your nanny as the nanny is an integral part of the FDR experience. There would not have been an issue in replacing...

Last time we went to Jamaica (2 years prior) we stayed at the Hilton Rose Hall Resort and it was very fancy just like a nice hotel in the states. But I prefer this one, even though it was not as fancy it was more authentic. The employees were all very friendly and would go out of there way to...

I absolutely LOVED this resort!! Please don't feel worried when you enter the entrance. It does not look so good from outside, but once your inside, you will love it. The service is second to none. Staff is sooooo curteous and ready to please. Food was good. Drinks were great!! Rooms were nice and cool (actually, sometimes too cool, A/C...

Great hotel with friendly staff. Once we moved into the delightful suite #2 in Block 8, with french windows opening directly onto a little beach area we became very happy with the resort. The suite had one king bedroom and three twin beds arranged in two other rooms plus two bathrooms. It was a very comfortable size for our family...
