Based on a tip from someone we met, we found the Boat Bar at the Windchimes hotel one evening around 6 PM. It is a wonderful little friendly bar that is mostly for guests and locals who come for the unique pizzas and reasonable drinks. This is a beautiful space on a side street in Ocean Park on the border...

The hotel is charming and affordable. Beach is lovely and right down the street. The rooms are basic and small, but do the trick. The bar is a +. Highly recommended a watermelon mojito and the pizza was one the better meals we had.

PROS: The hotel is an old colonial building and it has a great vibe. My room was very cozy and it was in a very nice area in the hotel. The bar was cool and the pizza they make was one of the best I've had in San Juan. CONS: Cleaning service has a very strange way of running things....

This charming hotel was perfect for what I and friend were looking for, one block from the beach, nice convenient outdoor bar in the hotel, and walking distance to amazing food and la placita! All of the employees were very helpful in guiding us in the right direction

It was like a horror movie staying here. Staff were rude and they had cats all over the place. Your money is worth more somewhere else! Rooms were not clean and bath tub were not cleaned. Checking in was difficult and we had to walk all over town to find the receptionist. There are way better hotels in Puerto Rico...

The Wind Chimes Boutique is an excellent place to stay if you want to get away from a resort. It's charming, simple, and surrounded by great local areas. The staff was kind. Christopher was especially great and attentive. We also enjoyed eating breakfast at their sister hotel, which Martha provided excellent service.

We booked a reservation at Canario Boutique Hotel. Upon our arrival, we were switched to a sister hotel Wind Chimes Hotel. We're staying here tonight, but definitely not a fan. Looks like something that would be on Gillian's Island. I can say that it is clean.

The customer service at this place sucks. The receptionist AVELUZ-COSTELLO is very rude and condescending. While checking in there was an issue about checking in two kids. The hotel policy states kids under 16 can stay, but AVULEZ wanted me to pay for another room so that the kids could stay. Another Worker at the hotel tried to help Negotiate,...

We spent one night at the Wind Chimes before departing on a cruise. It is located approximately halfway between the airport and the cruise port. The place has an old Spanish fort feel, with arched doorways and cobble stone like walkways. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was plenty large and comfortable.
