This was my first time to Puerto Rico. I've been to a few Caribbean locations and have to say this was my most disappointing one. Weather was mostly cloudy all 6 days and windy, beaches were okay (waters were rough), food a bit pricey, and the Condado area I thought was a bit run down. Overall, Wind Chimes Inn was...

The public spaces at the Wind Chimes Inn are well done and well maintained. There is a small pool, areas to sit and relax, a bar, they serve breakfast (we did not eat there) and parking for 4 small cars. (But parking there is a challenge - it is like working a puzzle to get all 4 cars in the...

We enjoyed our stay here and we would return. The location is one block from the beach and a short walk from the hotel and commercial part of Condado - exactly where we wanted to be. It was a great value. The rooms here are very small and so is the swimming pool. If that's important to you then you...

The Wind Chimes Inn was the most unpleasant hotel I've used in many years. I chose the hotel based on reviews here on Trip Advisor, but found a very different place from what I had been led to expect. This shocked me since I've come to rely on Trip Advisor through the years and have always been able to add...

I was looking for a five day reprieve from a brutal new york city winter and I found it. A friend told me about the inn, as he'd stayed there with his wife when they were dating, and I gave it a shot. It was perfect. The inn is intimate and lovely , and the staff is helpful and unobtrusive....

We weren't expecting anything fancy but nonetheless were somewhat disappointed when our room - the most expensive out of the three places we stayed on our trip - turned out to be TINY, overrun with excess furniture, essentially in the basement and have an itty bitty teenie weenie bathroom. The room wasn't awful or dirty; however, our one window looked...

Last December American Airlines had a $250 Austin/San Juan round trip special that we couldn't pass up and pushed the "Buy" button! I mentioned the cheap airfare and our friends (other retirees) said "we're in". With a little research we decided to circumnavigate the island staying at paradors and sample the fine Porto Rican food and the rums. What a...

Stayed for 3 days in SJ. Wanted to be close to Old San Juan, a beach and also not pay too much. This was a great value. less than $100/night for a king sized bed about 2 blocks from the beautiful Ocean Park beach. And 2 blocks to the bus to Old San Juan. The room was SIMPLE, this is...

I found At Wind Chimes Inn in the "Que Pasa?" magazine--a publication about touring Puerto Rico, which is very helpful! I checked it out online and loved their website, checked reviews on here and was even more excited. I called to book a room and was told that there was only an economy room left or a large king-size room...

My Boyfriend and I stayed here for a 4 night long weekend in November and it was everything we could have asked for. The staff was incredibly friend and helpful. The hotel food was a bit pricey but absolutely delicious-thanks to the bar tender Danny. The location was great, close to bus routes, old San Juan and the beach. Our...
