This place is amazing.  I'm not usually the type to leave a review, but had to show my appreciation of this hotel. It all starts with a welcome message via text to confirm your booking.  The hotel continues to be very responsive via text or WhatsApp for all your needs from housekeeping to a bucket of ice. Your stay begins with a delicious welcome cocktail that's not watered down to cool you off and signal your vacation has officially begun. The staff are all super attentive, but I have to highlight Yani, Val, and Ignacio who's customer service REALLY stood out.  They gave great recommendations for dining and activities off the beaten path.  But, what impressed me most was when I realized guest names and room number had been memorized by some staff!  This is the kind of service you can only get at a boutique hotel.  When I arrived, they realized I'd have a birthday during my stay and surprised me with champagne, treats, and a thoughtful note when I arrived to my room. The property is beautiful with cool seating areas throughout. It's safe -- you need to use your key card to enter the hotel.  The rooms are gorgeous and come equipped with face masks for your convenience.  They also have smart TVs with Netflix and Roku already loaded so all you have to do is login to your account. The location is perfect. The beach is a 5 minute walk behind the hotel ("make a left, then another left"). Calle Loiza is only blocks away for restaurants, nightlife, and even Walgreens that's open 24 hours. This review is longer than I anticipated, but worth it to give kudos to a hotel so very deserving!

Hotel's Favourite
Exceeded our expectations, by a lot! We stayed in a double room and it was very spacious and comfortable. Also, very clean! Many special touches, like the box of treats from a bakery nearby. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We felt very safe too. We hope to be back and would recommend it!

So, based on the reviews and some locals I know who recommended staying here, I had different expectations than what we ended up getting. So, likely not the right hotel for my wife and I, but I can see it being the perfect hotel for others. So, the negatives first; it's a small hotel. And very modern. You might like this. But the rooms are small, and don't have much natural light/windows. My wife called out room "the prison cell". It did have a privative outdoor shower, which was the only outside light. the fixtures and deco was modern, though it seemed done a bit on the cheap - the showerhead and the bath faucet both weren't secured completely, gaps in the construction and such. But it was clean, nothing was broken, and the TV ran Netflix and Sling (if you planned on staying in the small room at all) Second, the impression is that the hotel is 'steps from the beach.' This is, especially given the name of the hotel, not really true. It is a walk down a fairly long block to the beach. So it's not a place you can just go to the beach and be able to use the hotel facilities, or grab a drink at the bar, and relax. They'll give you beach chairs (that then you carry down the long street to get to the beach), but it's not on the beach. And the pool is about a 5' x 5' tub. If you want to do a beach vacation, well, not my idea of the right place. It seems to be a modern, hip place for younger groups out for a party clubbing atmosphere - the lounge music is the pumping club style even during breakfast. Also, the wifi didn't really work, and we had to get a different wifi login, and it was still kind of spotty. So, small, efficient, not on the beach. The good? The staff is young, happy, and willing to help. On check-in, we were given a rum punch on the house, and they insisted on escorting us to our room, and carry our luggage. They were very friendly and gave the impression that anything you needed, they'd take care of it for you. Jason, the bartender was amazing. Friendly to everyone, great stories, made great drink suggestions, and mixed great drinks. Almost on his own, he bumped what I might have given rating wise up a full star. The food I can't comment on aside from breakfast. But breakfast was very good. I heard compliments about the dinner and lunch, but can't vouch for it myself. But again, service was very good, and all the staff were there to make everyone's experience the best possible. Valet parking only, but they were very good about getting the car out and in. So, I'd say is you're an older couple, or a family with younger kids.. likely not the right place. But younger couples or groups out for a more party-like atmosphere, vibrant, and hip/happening.. definitely give it a look. And if you don't mind walking to the beach and not having hotel services near by.

Such a cute spot. The restaurant was popping earlier too. My room is beyond impressive. The beach is around the corner. Can't ask for much more. They stay in contact with you, and there is always someone around to help you. They have security at the front and keep doors locked. Everyone has a smile, and you will feel very welcomed. They have Netflix and Sling available. The room is actually super cold, which is awesome, but I turned it down. However, I have zero complaints and am already planning my trip back.

Decent location. Amazing Staff. Beautiful property. It was overall a lovely one night stay. A lot less expensive than the bigger chain hotels in Puerto Rico. Staff go above and beyond. I'd for sure stay here again.
