Just finished a great 4 night stay. Excellent room on ground floor of west beach. Staff could not have been more friendly. Had top rated massage and enjoyed steam room and hot pool. All restaurants and water sport activities not yet opened. Assume will take another week or so and

Easily one of the nicest hotels I have had the pleasure of staying. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Service is top notch. Dining selections were plentiful.

Rooms were huge and very well appointed. The break wall positioned on the west side creates a peaceful swim area

My wife and I stayed for just a few days, but everything about it was beyond our expectations. We were not sure if the property would not have some remnants of storm damage still and also generally what the area would look like. We were amazed at how lush everything was. We und

Hi does anyone know if the pools are heated or at least warm since it reopened. I know it's puerto rico but I don't like stepping in a cold pool.
I cannot tell you for certain the main pool was heated but it was plenty warm. We did end up moving to the hot tub several times however to get warm when the rain was heavy. The temp was comfortable. We did not use the other pool near Encanto. Our plunge pool at our room was also warm but we noticed warmer when the sun was out and heating it. We dealt with a lot of rain last week. All in all they were not cold and the ocean was also very comfortable. Have fun.

All I see is kid friendly stuff. Is there no place there you can escape them? I don’t want to blow thousands of dollars dealing with a bunch of screaming brats...
We went as a couple and although we dealt with some kids we still had a wonderful time. It was very Adult Friendly and romantic. The Spa was kid free and amazing as was the main pool most of the time. The Beach was also big enough not to deal with them. You can so walk and ride bikes on the very long, over 5 miles total, path. There were times when we did say kids should not really be here and they were loud, it was not often and or long so it was not an issue over all.

Hey peps im just wondering what part of the island is this hotel. Thinking of booking in December we have a good few friends staying in Puerto Rico an wondering what the travel time would be if we went to vist them ect. Also is der loads of mosquitoes xx thank you
It’s heading west on highway 22, from San Juan, about 45 minutes highway time from the airport. We didn’t have a problem with mosquitoes but you can always get one of those repellent bracelets or use a bug spray. We were not in a heavily wooded area either. We stayed at Plantation 2 which was wonderful. Tip: if you are renting a car be sure it has a toll road sticker. You must have it on your car to travel on the highways. Hope this helps!

Is the food reasonable priced or are there nearby reasonable restaurants to eat at.
Both. Food is very expensive. Some reasonable alternatives not too far away.

We booked for 12 days at the end of next anime in a West beach plunge room. Based on the discounted rate, I assume it won't be as crowded as winter and spring but with school out I also assume there will be quite a few families which will he great as well be there with our kids. Will we be able to get pool chairs easily as well as the chairs on the beach directly in front of our room? And should we still make lunch and dinner reservations a few months ahead of time, as well as excursions? Thanks in advance.
Hi- we just got back and it felt like our own private resort/ no need for reservations for anything - we had our pick daily of pool chairs and dinner breakfast seating! Have a blast!!!
