We enjoyed our night at Casa De Tortuga. The owners are very friendly & accommodating. The outside amenities looked wonderful, although we got in late & left early so we didn’t get to enjoy them. The place had lots of cute outdoor ambiance. I recommend this unique, spacious stay for a family.
It is the perfect shelter home base while in Vieques. We traveled by sailboat and chose to book a room as a comfier accommodation, just in case it got rocky in the bay. Kids loved it, the pool , the room and the friendliest owners ever! We are officially calling it our second home in Vieques. Certainly will comeback without the sailboat for a longer and more frequent stays. It is walking distance from everything Esperanza has to offer.
On a little back street is this gem of a guesthouse—comfortable, spacious room, cute pool and multiple sitting areas, within walking distance of loads of restaurants and stunning beaches. My favorite place during our visit to Puerto Rico. Skip and Linda are very welcoming, great hosts. Look for pigs, chickens, and horses to wander by!
First of all, this place is great! We were only there for one night and we loved it. Our room was super clean and the hostess/owner was so nice. The owner gave us recommendations for dinner and walking instructions. We didn’t have a chance to try the pool but it looked clean. We stayed in casita #4. Beach towels were provided to us. Our room was very quiet and the AC kept it cool.
From the moment we arrived to the hotel Linda was cold. She did not allow us into our room without her walking in and looking at all of our belongings. The room had no body wash, conditioner, or lotion. Since all the windows were left open in the villa I heard multiple inappropriate unprofessional conversations of Linda. She was very controlling. As I was checking out of the villa and about to bring my personal belongings out she proceeded to show some potential guest the space, even though I expressed to her that I would have my things out shortly in a timely manner. But instead she decided to not respect my boundries and still showed the place, as if I was on display for some random people. After we left we realized that we needed to return the key to her. So we called and spoke to her husband Skip and communicated that we would be bringing the keys back to them. So once returned to the villa Linda went on to say that she had already charged us a fee for the key, mind you the fee is only if she had to go back to the San Juan to go get a new key made. That is part of our experience. Here is a picture of a video took of her receiving the hotel key.…
