This place is just perfect, and I can be fussy when it comes to accommodations. It's so light, airy, and clean! The location right on the Malecon makes for an easy walk to some fabulous dinners. We stayed in an Ocean View Deluxe King, and I highly recommend paying up if you can get one. Our deck had a perfect view of the ocean and the Malecon, and we spent much time sitting up their and enjoying the view and people watching. Yes, there was some street noise, but we just used a white noise machine app on our phone and slept soundly. As others have said, they have everything you need for a perfect day at the beach. If I could make one suggestion, it would be great if the hotel offered hard boiled eggs to go with the breakfast. We ended up going out for breakfast one day, because we were craving something savory to start the day.

My wife and I married on the beach in Vieques. We stayed 4 nights at Malecon house. The staff brought a nice bottle of Prosecco to our room. We enjoyed our stay very much. The place is super clean and staff is very helpful. Very convenient location to all restaurants and short drive to beaches. They have beach chairs and coolers for guests to use as needed. Only negative was the breakfast and the bed and pillows could have been more comfortable. In any case we will be back as soon as possible.

Our stay at malecon house was absolutely amazing. When we arrived, the sweetest staff greeted us and gave us a short tour of the place, so that we knew where to find everything. We felt so looked after, and so spoiled. Stunning place, rooms and pool area. SOOO clean which was wunderful. Only the best recommondations 😁

This is a five ***** hotel for so many reasons! Location is perfect, minutes from restaurants and beach. The staff were all gracious and helpful with a clear focus on providing their guests with everything needed to have an awesome vacation. As mentioned in all reviews, they supply anything you need! The hotel is super clean and very spa like. There was quite a bit of noise on the street on the weekends that carried through the night but certainly not just affecting this hotel. The continental breakfast was just enough to fill you up to start your daily adventure! I would highly suggest renting a golf cart or vehicle as soon as you decide to come to this beautiful island as they are limited in supply. Please come and enjoy this beautiful hotel and island, we will be back!

We spent 13 lovely nights at the Malecon House. We were sorry to leave. The location is excellent in Esperanza. You can walk right to the 7 restaurants on the boardwalk. We had an ocean view room which we highly recommend. We could sit and watch the ocean, horses walking by and all the action from our balcony. All of the beaches were just a few miles away which we rented a jeep to get to. Maryann and Robin were always there to answer our questions and help us with any needs. The place is small but has everything you need including a small pool, all the beach equipment and a lounge with drinks and snacks, We enjoyed this place much more than most of the high rise hotels and stacked chair environment you find so much in the caribbean. Vieques is very unique and we definitely want to visit again. Great job Malecon House!
