This was our first family trip to Vieques and Tropical Guest House. We have visited as a couple in the past. Joe and Maria are amazing hosts and extremely accomodating. We have an 8 and 7 year old. They were amazed by the natural beauty surrounding TGH. Before breakfast we would sit out front to watch for horses passing through...

All was excellent, basic needs met and exceeded thru service and cleanliness - Maria and her husband welcome you with open arms and make you feel right at home while visiting Vieques. The rooms are extremely clean, they have a nice garden in the back that gives you the feeling you are in the "campo" while vacationing at the beach.

Simple Guesthouse with amazing hosts Maria and Joe! Tee rooms have what you need and they help you get setup to see the amazing beaches on the island. If you are there on Thursday, make sure to go to Ladies' Night!

I was on the island with my wife and was looking for a place to pick up a couple of cigars. We found the tropical. The owner was working behind the bar and welcomed us and talked me through his selection of cigars. He had a nice cigar that happened to be on special, a drink came with each purchase....

Maria and José were very friendly proprietors who accommodated our change in plans very nicely. They were also able to tell us about which bio tour to take and how to get publicos around the island. The breakfast was nice and quite cheap and the espresso that José made was the best on the island.

This is my first review in trip advisor because this place deserves 5 stars. We chose this guest house because it was within our budget and found it to excede all our expectations. Don't let its location fool you. Although located in the north part of the island, it takes more or less 10min to drive to the wildlife reserve,...

We spent two nights in this place and let me tell you that you would be hard pressed to find a more welcoming, comfortable and helpful lodging this side of Vieques. It's a small place an easy 10-minute walk from the ferry dock with clean, spacious rooms of a high standard. What makes it truly special is the owners who...
