Reviews summary

The Karibea Squash Hotel is praised for its cleanliness and some of its amenities, such as the infinity pool and breakfast buffet, although a few guests have raised concerns about the pool size and soundproofing. While the service receives mixed reviews—some commend the staff's helpfulness, others are less impressed with the professionalism and speed. The atmosphere is similarly polarizing, with the presence of a DJ contributing to noise issues for some. The rooms offer comfort and sea views, yet dissatisfaction arises from noise, outdated bathrooms, and again, soundproofing problems. Overall, many guests question the hotel's value, pointing to the noise, service shortcomings, and additional costs.

Great stay at the Squash Hotel. Came as a family, the welcome was very good and the responsiveness of the staff was good, following an air conditioning problem.

We tried the bar when we arrived, it was a nice surprise.

Breakfast is varied with a different surprise every morning. We can salute the professionalism of the ladies in charge of this, who listened to us.

We were on the second floor on the street side, the soundproofing is very good.

The bedding, a real treat.

We can criticize the Squash for parking that is not up to par but given the location of the hotel, it is very correct.

Room ok but noisy (street)
Correct restoration.
Barman does not respect customers: price more expensive than advertised, he moves a room in the evening from 9 p.m. to midnight, speaking very loudly as well. Total disrespect. Damage .
The other very pleasant people.

3 nights in this hotel, arrival 20 minutes early to check in at reception, an intern probably not smiling, cold exchanges anything but professional... I waited 10 minutes after checking the room was ready!
Otherwise a comfortable, well-equipped room with a terrace and a very beautiful sea view, the city center is a 10-15 minute walk away but to be avoided in the evening... otherwise a good breakfast with a much more friendly and smiling welcome
Good restaurant not far from the Le Favela hotel, a little expensive but very good

Don’t stay here if you want to sleep.
DJ was extremely loud, patrons running the halls who kept trying to open our door. Front desk would not answer the phone and security did nothing. Any of our requests fell on deaf ears.

Hotel staff somewhat appalling and unpleasant towards us, including. security, we had been extremely unwelcome.
The all-you-can-eat buffet is really well provided mainly for breakfast, however the service of the establishment during meals is unsympathetic and has difficulty serving us properly.
Swimming pool friendly but without more, poor soundproofing of rooms, and defective VMC..
Brief value for money very bad.

The hotel is old and decrepit. Check-in was slow and unwelcome. A warm welcome was nonexistent. I haven’t checked out yet and am already posting comments on google. Unfortunately we only stayed here one night and it's too much.
Restaurant is to escape. Bad service.
We came to the room and now there's an infernal DJ noise. You can't sleep.
As a tourism professional I do not recommend all this hotel and restaurant

We booked a table for dinner.
We sat down and before he came to make the order it took a good 20 minutes

We order menu with entry dish and dessert. A wine we know well and a jarto water.

We waited a good half an hour and the tickets came. They tell us there is no wine chosen. We moved to IPA. They say q doesn't have. Well come a place. Better make a new letter!!! Since this seems there is nothing...
We wait and wait until more than 1h30 the table tell us that the chosen fish has not.
We get up and ask for the bill. 2 entries and 2 cvejas 50 EUR.
An apology? What is that? Clean up the client? What is that? Poor poor.
To escape

The hotel has a great standard. The service stuff ist very nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. You can have a hot shower and the towels are soft and thick. For the breakfast you can find everything you need. It is really outstanding by its view and Infinity pool. Loved to stay with you! 10/10

I've never seen a hotel that doesn't have water.
The fact that there are no cameras in all the parking lots is very bad.
The chocolate or coffee machine in the morning often breaks down.
When there is water, it’s black water that comes out of the shower faucet.
Flooding outside the room one morning when I got up.
This is all that happened during several stays.

Where to start, we stayed in 2 stays: 5 nights and 2 nights.
The standard room is perfect. Quiet hotel very well located 15 minutes walk from the port. No difficulty parking. Light breakfast! Like the entire KARIBEA chain. Too expensive for a limited choice. But the waitresses were very pleasant as well as the place to enjoy your coffee.
The hotel's reception is still improving!!! Aside from the manager in the office who was great with us, the rest of the team seriously lacks a smile and investment in customers.
A small example: absent for 3 days, I reported that there was no more soap in the shower, when I returned there was still none. I call reception: come and get him, I'm all alone while there were two of them.
So I go downstairs and the big man gives me a ridiculous little bar of soap! Sorry, are you kidding me?
I do not have any. After getting angry and like magic, he found some!
No seriously, train your maids to be more diligent about this kind of thing! And take pleasure in your work, it really feels like you're boring yourself!
