We found the room and balcony spacious. However the ‘sea views” were really overlooking a busy port and construction. Additionally, it was a long way from other restaurants or other facilities. There was a small restaurant/bar in the ground floor however it was not always open. For example we were there on a Sunday and it was closed. Interestingly, we had to make sure all of our dishes were washed before we left. Staff were helpful, even though at times there was a language barrier. For us the hotel served its purpose as a stopover before our cruise left. On the return journey we had to wait many hours for our flight that night so the cruise company arranged for us to wait back at the hotel. We were appreciative that they did let us use their laundry however, the restaurant was not open. In hindsight – due to the distance from restaurants etc we would have considered somewhere else.

Excellent in every way -- rooms / staff / pool / views / if you have a car -- if not still excellent but local restaurants limited to 3 but all good. I went to think and write in peace and it was a perfect choice. Maybe not a party place - best in town for that.

Lamentable!!! Beautiful room and kitchen on the balcony is really great BUT… no customer consideration!!! Important construction and very noisy when we want to enjoy our balcony or the swimming pool, the Restaurant and bar are closed during our stay with no alternative offered to help us enjoy our stay… a beautiful roof top with a view but once again no longer closed therefore not available!!! So we went to the neighboring hotel “B and B” and the complete opposite of the Poseidon!! Everything is perfect !! I recommend it instead of Poseidon!! Plus at the end of our stay, we have to collect our trash and wash your dishes... it’s ANYTHING!!! otherwise he keeps the $200 euro deposit 🙄… IN SHORT DON’T GO TO POSSÉIDON…

Bad surprise upon our arrival...the hotel restaurant is closed, hence no lunch on site or cocktail by the pool! VERY noisy construction site right in front of the hotel! Gym not at all inviting! No compensation in any form! Beautiful roof top terrace also closed!! Choose the B and B hotel next door instead! Great swimming pool and great restaurant! Gym also very good at this hotel

Very noisy environment - construction all around and in front of the freight port. Not their fault but no prior notice of our arrival. Lunch announced not available and roof top terrace closed for unknown cause. Same thing for the bar… No room in the shade near the swimming pool.

Very good on all levels. Superb view, even if the nearby environment is not super touristy like the commercial port and the marina under construction. But the facilities are very good and the staff overall very friendly and helpful (except one young lady at the reception). Special mention to Valentino and Déborah.

I'll start with the negative point so we get rid of the subject: No restaurant, no bar and closed roof top, it's not possible! How can you not be able to enjoy a little cocktail by the pool or lunch at a quiet restaurant when it's 35 degrees... If the complex covers these services then it will be great ;) We arrive slammed at Fort de France for the arrival of a transatlantic, the Cap Martinique. We booked at short notice, our apartment will be available from 2 p.m. It's 7 a.m., we haven't slept for 30 hours to ensure our skippers are welcomed as big winners. Nice surprise, we can take “possession” of our accommodation at 8:30 a.m.! Needless to say, we are happy!!! Very large accommodation, well equipped and impeccably clean. A big thank you for the smiling, friendly and empathetic welcome!
