We visited for the first time in August after the hotel had been closed for a month and sold to St James Club on 20 July. We had received a phone call fromSaga prior to our holiday, informing us of the sale but assuring us that nothing would change and we could expect the usual high standard of service. It...

We booked through Saga and were contacted shortly before our holiday saying that the hotel had been sold but nothing would be different for our stay however things didn't quite work out that way. On arrival at the' meet and greet' we had a warm welcome from Camilla who explained the changes that would take place during our holiday as...

We both love our trips to the Bel Jou.We have been 3 times between May 15 and May 16.This included a fantastic Christmas break as well. We will hopefully be back next year to see everyone. This makes 7 visits. I really hope that because the Bel Jou has been sold it does not lose any of its charm and...

Another fantastic holiday at The Bel Jou, all the staff are fabulous, warm, friendly and fun. As a returning guest you are treated as a friend, my partner and I booked for next year whilst still enjoying our holiday. The Island is stunning, such warm welcoming people who love their island.

Confirmed by rep and SAGA.It's a shame but think SAGA have been loosing money on it in the past. It's needs updating and maintenance. I hope the wonderful staff are kept on if it's sold as a going concern.Unsettling times for them. The laid back atmosphere is good if you don't like fuss. If you are expecting lots of energetic...

We stayed here for 2 weeks with Saga and had a wonderful time. The staff were very warm & friendly, the food was excellent and our room very comfortable. A real bonus was the free courtesy bus to take you to a nearby beach, into the capital Castries (also nearby) or to Pigeon Island and Rodney Bay. We liked its...

I returned today from my second holiday in this amazing hotel. Everything you could possibly need, you can get in this beautifully positioned escape to Paradise. The hotel can only be booked through Saga, but don't think OKD. There are opportunities to ride a Segway, go whale watching, snorkelling from a catamaran . The list is long, and its all...

Bel Jou is reserved for a more mature demographic. No children are allowed so the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. The hotel is located on spacious well maintained grounds, with a lovely pool and recreation area. Meals are a refreshing fusion of the usual 'hotel fare' and local cuisine. The staff is polite and maintain an unobtrusive presence. The grounds...
